I'm always amazed that people that pay thousands of dollars for a cruise or any kind of a trip, and then worry about a few bucks for gratuities...not just this post, but there are hundreds of posts on social media about the tips.

Are you booked? I can look at my planner for dream. I just see the steak place for $48 and green eggs and ham. No thanks to green eggs lol.
Wish dream had more.
If you are booked you can open your booking and see.
Thank You!

We have tried to find pricing for the specialty restaurants on the Carnival Mardi Gras with no success.
Is there a published price list available?
Thx!

We were just on the Legend in June--asked our Steward the 1st day to have an ice bucket filled twice daily. She missed one night, but other than that, no problems.

I fill my 24 Oz. Yeti water bottle with no problem.

We've done a search, but couldn't find specific info.
We are interested in doing the Bacardi Factory tour--must do it on our own, Carnival, doesn't offer the tour.
Are there any tour operators that include transportation to/from the cruise ship port where Carnival docks?
We know about taxis, buses, and the water taxi, but looking for operators that specifically include the transportation in their package.
Thanks!

We were just there last week for the first time in a few years. There aren't many shade trees left.
If we get back we will definitely get one to get out of the direct sun.

Did the Breakfast sandwiche from room service. Never again, horrible in my opinion others may like it, too much bacon all of which was extra crispy, too much egg, muffin was not toasted enough
Sorry....there is never too much extra crispy bacon! :)

We purchased a day pass at Margaritaville a few weeks ago.
The pools were open, the lazy river was good, and the beach area was crowded the day we were there.
We felt it was worth the money.

We just returned from our Liberty cruise at Port Canaveral and we were off the ship, through customs, on a bus, and at MCO before 9:00AM.
This was the easiest debarkation we've ever had.

We've used Resort For A Day in the past and they are totally legit.
As a matter of fact I had to cancel a booking during the pandemic and I received a refund to my credit card right away-no hassles.
And-we went to Margaritaville last week--had a great day--lazy river is good as is the beach area. Not a bad walk from the dock.

We've cruised out of Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and now Port Canaveral.
We had the easiest embarkation/ debarkation at Port Canaveral....by far.
The whole process-by the port and by Carnival was very efficient and organized.

It's a conspiracy....

Thanks for the replies--we've sailed enough to know their limitations...we just couldn't tell if all the cabins had one.
Thanks for your help!

Do all the cabins on the Legend have a refrigerator?
We are looking at a balcony cabin on the Verandah deck and can’t tell if it has one.

Yup, I totally agree. Exact same thing happened to us. Had a balance of $73.64 on it and received a gift card in that amount about 2 weeks after we got back home. And using it on our next cruise. I've heard talk of a way to get the refund back in cash by going to the casino, but I'm not ready for that. 👍
I've cashed out in the casino on previous cruise-was always easy.
This time I just figured I'd leave the balance on a gift card since I'm paying for a May cruise--worked out very well--I've made a payment today with the refunded gift card.
-
I had a balance left on a gift card that I used for my on board account, and was told at Guest Services that I would receive a gift card with the balance left.
Our trip ended Sunday--I received the FedEx package today with the refund gift card in it.
Can't beat that!

Right - that's why I suggested adding a credit card to your account when you check-in online, so you don't have to rush to guest services right when you board the ship, to add the credit card. Just wait until the middle of the cruise when the lines aren't long and add the gift card then.
Excellent advice regarding not going right away!

We will turn Platinum on our May/2020 cruise, and to be quite honest, the other perks are fine. Not worried if we don't get an extra gift, whether it's a lanyard, a thermos, or whatever.

Will be doing the Behind the Fun Tour on the Conquest in a few weeks myself. Always wanted to do it.
We did it on the Conquest last year--enjoyed it very much.

Maybe she was pissed because the Captain didn't show up at her table with butter and straws? 😉

15 days left, I’ll be there to test it out. Just gonna wonder what the rental car is going to say or try to do something.
I pretty much prepared myself for this. Got the pass, got my own rental car insurance, will verify that the rental car transponder is CLOSED and tape it shuts.
What did I miss.........
oh oh oh yeah gas money
what else ????
I rented from Dollar and they said nothing.
The people with the transponders are in the area of the car rental counters. It took less than 5 minutes to get it.
The return boxes are near the crosswalk from the garage--looks like a mailbox and is easy to spot.
-
Returned home from MCO yesterday.
The whole process was so easy--from getting the transponder at the airport on the 11th, to returning it to a dropbox yesterday.
My account shows all transactions, and I assume the charges are discounted as they claimed.
From our standpoint, this program will be a huge win for visitors who rent cars in the area.

hmmm ... SUNPASS website says this is the current policy for DOLLAR:
$52.49 maximum weekly fee. PlatePass® All-Inclusive Tolling must be sold for the length of the rental contract. It cannot be purchased only on certain days. ... If not enrolled at time of reservation or at the rental counter, and user incurred toll charges by utilizing a dedicated or express lane, a $9.99 administrative fee + toll is assessed for each infraction to a maximum fee of $90.00.
And this new program says you pay for tolls ONLY . . . you may want to go here and read details (recommend the FAQ) https://visitortollpass.com/ but were it me ..... I'd be 'reserving' on this site right now!!!!!
If you discover I missed something PLEASE come back and share . . .
Based upon what I'm seeing at the Dollar site, and all the other info available, I will save money by picking up a transponder tomorrow at MCO, and returning it at the end of our two week stay.
I did sign up and have a confirmation #.
Thanks for your help!
