We are booked for our first Haven experience. We are booked in an H5 in the courtyard because we thought it would be better to be close to all of the amenities, but are now considering a forward facing H7.
Â
After seeing the size of the H7 we are intrigued with moving. Any advice from experienced NCL cruisers is much appreciated. Is the service better in the courtyard area?
Â
The prices are almost identical on our sailing. Also, the floorplans for the H7 are different on each deck. I know it's still being built but any advice on which cabin in H7 may be better would help us decide.
Â
Thanks ahead of time. We're very excited to get back to the cruiseline that started our addiction! Our first cruise ever was on the Norway!

St Pete is a vibrant option. The downtown area has it all for a night on the town pre cruise! The Hilton is close to all of the restaurants, wine store and a CVS.

Looking forward to your review. We are sailing on her in March.:)

I respect your reasons for enjoying a Lido deck cabin; however, the distance from HC to our Caribe deck cabin is likely shorter than to your cabin.
Â
We usually book a Caribe deck cabin aft of the aft elevators. Hallways are quiet with very little foot traffic and access to HC and all of Lido deck is quick and easy via the aft or mid-ship elevators.

maybe, but the elevators can take forever up top. :D We had a routine of getting our cold sandwiches from the IC and then heading up for the fresh french fries from the grill.
Â
We never really had a problem with noise. The only time was during luggage off loading. We were right across from the crew area.

We loved staying on the Lido deck for our Ruby cruise. We picked the Lido over the large Caribe balcony due to location location location. It was a great deck and we would take it again. We enjoyed going to our room with our breakfast and lunches instead of hunting for a table. It was so easy to pop back to the cabin for items during the day and to refill my bottled water.

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Cabin creaked quite a bit. It woke me up a few nights.

Any specific problems with this cabin? The TV had an iszsue with the volume control. Our room steward fixed it 1/2 way through the cruise and said the system had frozen.

Thank you all for your views. I'm still torn, but either way we will have a great cruise! For now, we are staying put in the Haven area. We figure we can use the Haven as our second room.😎
