We did not swim in the falls but did see a a few people in the falls. I am sure you could arrange this with your driver.
Thank you

Our ship docked in Roseau. Just across the street from the port is the Visitors Center. We stopped in and asked about a tour to the interior part of the Island. My sister and I took a private tour which lasted a little over 2 hours. We went to Trafalgar Falls, Sulphur Hot springs, drove through the Botanical Gardens. The drive to the Rainforest and the falls was beautiful. It’s a very mountainous island. Along the way the driver was very informative about the history of the Island. You can customize a tour to your liking. The cost per person was $40.00, which you can negotiate.
Did you have time to swim or just see the falls and hot springs. Trying to find a tour where you can actually go in the water as well as seeing them

Hi everyone,
In the month of december our MSC cruise will be anchored in Dominica. We are currently looking for tours covering Ti Tou Gorge and Trafalgar Falls. Is is our first time there and we are struggling to find reviews on the companies we have found so far. Are there are any companies you can recommend for tours there?
So far these are the ones we have found to still be operating:
- KHATTS Tours
- Venture Ashore
Do you have feedback about any of them? Do you recommend any other company?
Thank you!
We are going to Dominica this December and are looking for tours as well. Which company did you use and were they good, price, any info would be appreciated.
Thanks Chris

According to the app, approx $45 US each way. Not sure where you catch them, I’m assuming it should be right out front somewhere, I think, but just ask any security or port personnel and they can point you in the right direction I’m sure.
For anyone else looking for Cayman taxi fares, there’s an app.
Thanks that was very helpful

I'm really not sure. It was about a 45 minute ride and I only saw buses. Bamboo beach was fairly small and crowded with many cruisers. I didn't research any other beaches so I am not sure what else was there. Sorry I can't be of more help. Maybe start a new post with that question.
Thank you for the response

Are there any taxi's we could take to a beach? We were thinking of doing the Bamboo Beach excursion glad you mentioned it's not great. Would a taxi be safe?

Does anyone know the price of specialty coffees on Princess, debating buying a coffee package for my DH but not sure if it's worth it. Thanks for any info

Does anyone know the cost from Falmouth Jamaica and if you can just take a taxi ?

Hi we are going to Falmouth Jamaica next month and are looking for a nice beach day. We read bad reviews about the cruise ship tour so are looking for independent tour/advice. I read Red Stripe Beach is nice does anyone know anything about this beach? Can we just take a cab from the Port or is that not recommended?
Thanks for any info

Will bump this up, but guess no one goes to Freeport 🤔

I found the last couple of years there is no such thing as a " good cup of coffee" unless you pay for one in the
cafe. Since they switched I find the coffee is terrible.

When do they have happy hour at Red Frog Pub? and do they include buckets of beer in this special? and how many beer are in a bucket? I'd like to order a bucket or two and bring some back to my room to have on my balcony throughout the cruise. I figure happy hour would get me the best price.
Just got back a week ago and they had two happy hours I believe the first day and the last port day and yes it was all drinks including buckets half price, they put as many beers in as you wanted.

Yes, taxis are readily available right at the end of the pier. Just tell the person organizing them how many you have in your group and where you want to go. There are three main beaches: Frigate Bay ($3 person), South Friars ($4 person) and Cockleshell ($7 person). Prices are each way. If you arrange to have your driver come to pick you up, you will pay the total after he/she drops you off back at the pier.
Thank you this is very helpful :)

There will be 8 of us all adults going later this month can we just grab a taxi and go to one of the beaches? Any idea of taxi prices?
Thanks

I would change the rule that both people over 21 in the cabin have to purchase cheers. And enforce the chair hog rules.
I agree with this. I am not a drinker and my husband is. We don't buy this package ever. If they changed the rule then he would purchase it and at least they have made some revenue off of him. The way it is now he won't purchase as many individual drinks, so a loss of revenue for Carnival.
I also read someone said they'd like the drink coupons back, we did purchase these and it worked out great. Again more revenue for Carnival.
The other suggestion I liked was if they want both people to buy a package give us choices. One person can have the alcohol package and the other could buy a non alcohol package. Again more revenue for Carnival. After all isn't that what it's all about ;).
And yes enforce the chair hog rule. It is frustrating on sea days when you can't get a chair anywhere near the pool. (it makes us drink less :p too)

How much is the cab fare to Sandcastle beach. Do they rent chairs and if so how much. We will be in St. Croix Jan. 27th.
Any info is appreciated thanks

It basically means you need to use that link from Phil's post (save it to your bookmarks). Hit the link once, login and then open a new window (without logging out yet) and log in again on the same link. This is the page that will have the select option next to each of your cruises. Hope this helps.
That worked thanks :)

We used Ephesus Deluxe, and were very impressed, especially with the guide. The lunch break (free) is at a carpet factory, but the sales pitch was brief and not oppressive.

Thank you so much that is what I needed to hear:)

Guess I'm missing how to do the double window???
Me too I can find the reservation and itinerary but can't find our cabin. This is very frustrating especially with regards to this thread and room changes.
Any help would be appreciated.

We just used Ephesus Shuttle last week and were pleased with them. Most places accept Turkish lira, Euros and credit cards.
Thanks we were looking at Ephesus Deluxe as they include the terrace houses. Does anyone have experience with them??
