Those "crazy grown-ups" running down the halls, slamming cabin doors and making loud noises at all times of the night!!!
This message brought to you by the National Association of Kids Against Cruise Discrimination (NAKACD):
This thought crossed my mind about 10 days ago as my hot tub was invaded by 10 bugger eatin' 12 year-olds on my Carnival Jubilee cruise
But we had a good chat. They concluded I looked like Rickiy-Bobby
If you're not FIRST-you're LAST!
I was about 10 feet from Dandy Don on the other side of the glass when that final scene in the link was shot. He was in the SMU press box immediately above my seats
Lately, on my last 3 cruises, traveling from Houston to Galveston has shown great improvement with the new construction improvements. Traveling from The Woodlands to Houston seems more congested though
Cheaper Option:
You should be able to find a 4 star Hotel in Houston for probably $110-150 or so even on Friday night-then its an easy Saturday morning drive to Galveston
I paid $3850 for an 8th Floor Aft Havana Balcony on the Vista last July/August and it was worth every penny in my mind. You are a little lower and will hear some noise-its not rowdy-during the day but Vista Aft Havana Balconies are the bomb. I doubt you'll regret it. My only regret is that they don't have a Havana Aft Balcony on the Jubilee now in Galveston. I did get a 10th Floor (non-Havana) Aft Balcony though because I still get a great view of the Aft pool. But I'm going to miss the private pool/spas and camaraderie with other guests
