They really do need to up their game a bit on this.
They have a much nicer wine list in the Steakhouse and it is 50% off the first night and the first elegant night (you can get the free bottle but it isn't very good)
We have found the J. Lohr cab in the MDR to be quite acceptable.

I am quite sure people can have guests in their Lanai. Or I hope so.
It is the pool area and outdoor bar that is exclusive until 5:00. The indoor Havana Bar is open to everyone. That is how I am understanding it.

Havana Suite June 21st, can't wait! I'm looking forward to reading reviews and seeing pictures.
We are in a Havana Suite, too. Be sure to post some pictures! I can't wait!

Actually I did see that on TV. Can't remember the name of show but he was on a ship with Guy's burgers. They did western itinerary and he was going around to different places helping fix specialties in restaurants. I remember jerk chicken from Jamaica, so it was a western itinerary.
I saw the show, too. It was on Foodnetwork, I think. His whole family cruised on the Breeze.

I had the Value plan on the Pride last month. iMessage worked just fine until the last day. iMessage started working again as soon as I was off the ship in Baltimore.

My husband wondered about bar service at the balcony....
We are on deck 5

I read last night on a Carnival site somewhere that it was open for lunch and dinner.
Maybe it changed to just lunch but it would be great if dinner too.
I won't go for lunch but I would go for dinner.
I agree! I will have to try it even if it is only open at lunch. Supper would be much better! I guess we will find out soon.
The menu sounds fantastic!
-
I agree.....I wish it was open as a casual place to have dinner.

How long ago was this? We sail on 2/20 ... I hope they are open!!! Any recent pride cruisers who can verify if the change-over to the new vendor happened yet????
Cheers!
Jeff aka Recovery Dude :)
We were on the Pride just last week on the Journeys cruise.
All the shops were open. We just found they were low in stock.
-
We found stock on the Pride to be very low on the Journeys cruise. Shops were all open, though.

I didn't care for TJ either, though, we didn't see him that much.
He was quite mean toward the end. I had the feeling he just didn't care anymore.
Everything also was great on this cruise! Loved it!

Does anyone know if the Seafood Shack will be open for dinner or will it close when Guy's closes...[emoji886]

The shops carry Lancôme, Clinique and a few other brands. It seems to me to be airport pricing. Not a huge variety but enough to get by.

Surprisingly the epidural series did not help me, but, so far, the dry needling has. I saw "acupuncture" on the spa list and got excited. But it really does sound like it is more for sea sickness.
Acupuncture gave my husband relief from sciatic pain. He goes for a few sessions when it flares up again. Perhaps you could get your treatments at home right up to your departure and it will be enough to hold you until you get home again. It wouldn't hurt to ask at the spa, though.
By the way....a lot of people are sceptical about acupuncture and I was, too, until I discovered that it really did help my migraines. I go for a "refreshment" every couple of years when I start to feel the symptoms again.
-
I'm not sure how they are for sciatic pain. I have the impression they "specialize" in motion sickness. A trained acupuncturist should be able to do it all, though.
I have had treatment for migraines and I feel as though I need another round. [emoji12]
I would be curious to know someone else's experience as well.

The casino is gone now

Never mind....I found them. So glad! [emoji5]️

I'm loving this review! I would love, love to do this itinerary! I'm curious, though....did something happen to posts #108-120?

Barrachinas is a few blocks from the cruise port. It is a great place to store luggage.
-
As I understand it, the steakhouse wine list changes.
-
so you can check in, get off the ship, make a purchase in the duty free shop and walk back on the ship? Do you just leave the liquor from the duty free shop in the bag from the purchase?
We have brought wine on board at embarkation, left the ship, bought more wine in the duty free and walked right back on the ship. We haven't tried to bring liquor on board. I have heard, though, that security will tag any knapsack that has liquor etc with an orange tag which is easily concealed in your hand as you walk past security.
-
Don't they notice you don't have any luggage anymore and you already have your Sign & Sail card??
A lot of people get back off the ship to pick up some supplies at CVS or the duty free shop. I'm not sure how they could possibly monitor it
-
We're on this same sailing and didn't realize you could bring more wine on if you disembark again. Might be worth the walk! Thanks :)
We've walked on the ship with wine and walked back out to get more. Easy! We left a few hours later in case security recognized us.
I don't think it would have been an issue anyway.

On our last cruise we were able to purchase Opus One at 50% off and we also bought another great bottle at 50% off for our second night at the Steakhouse.
I would love to have bought more. We will have to ask about that the next time.
The wine selection in the Steakhouse is much more extensive than in the MDR.

It will likely be replaced. You may have to ask your steward when you first meet for fresh glasses every day. We have never had a problem.
