I will be doing a 14 day Alaska Seabourn in July. Because of the itin I was not planning on bringing a jacket. Could I get by with dress pants and shoes, button down shirt and a tie on formal night or should I plan on eating elsewhere?

Jubilee was my first cruise in the early 90's. Did a Mexican Rivera with a buddy. Would be neat to sail on the new one!

Just found this thread. We are booked to do a land/cruise through Princess the summer of 2024. 2 nights Fairbanks, 2 nights Denali, 2 nights McKinley. This will be our first time doing this. To those that have done this before, will the road closure impact the tours to the point that a person should consider re-booking?

So my wife was looking to buy a bottle of dark rum for our upcoming 3 week cruise but only light is available. She called HAL and so did our TA and although it is available at the bar, it is not available to be delivered to your room. Any idea why one and not the other? I know on another cruise line you could have your cabin steward swap it for you but she doesn't want to risk getting stuck with it. Can she purchase it once on board?

I am not finding a lot on information on this. Has anybody done this? We are on a HAL ship but I'm sure its similar across all ships. From the summary it says there is a stop at a fish and chips place but from the description it only mentions stopping for desert type items. Is there a stop for anything besides sweet treats? It also mentions taking a shuttle back to the ship at the end but nothing at the beginning I take this to mean its a walk from the terminal to the starting point? TIA
