  1. I expect that the passenger mix with be similar to  the Allure test with a mix of travel agents, media, Royal execs, pinnacles and they may have invited some other C&A members.

Along with everyone needed to show proof of full vaccination, within 24 hours of sailing we needed to fill out a health questioner.

Masks will be required to enter the terminal.

I expect they will chose some pax to be randomly tested before boarding.

We have a 12:30 boarding appointment and my understanding is the time are enforced.

We will arrive at the pier a little early to allow time to park our car and shuttle or walk to the terminal.

If I can figure out how to post pics from my phone I will do that as we go along.  Otherwise I will post them with my laptop from time to time.

Looking forward to meeting you as I've read so many of your helpful posts over the years!

Safe travels but I believe you live in/near Seattle.  I'm flying out tonight from the DC area. Wanted to get ahead of the possible stormy weather and arrive @ Pier 91 timely and relaxed tomorrow.

I should not be too hard to find.  I will be wearing orange and black Crocs.

    I expect about 600-650 passengers.

Yes, we are in Seattle, 7 miles from the pier.

Have you signed in to the ap? We didn't get an email, but our room was populated in the ap

I finally got the email at 1:49 am this morning.  It never showed up in my app or my cruise planner on the website. l was able to load it with the booking number.  Check in on the website was closed but I was able to check in using the app.

Maybe because they are saving you a royal suite and they don't want the rest of us to get jealous

That sounds good but I expect there will be a Royal exec using it.  Reports from the Allure indicate that all the volunteers got OV balconies.

We are all packed and ready.

I noticed on the updated event sheet that I received parking is complementary.  We will probably drive rather than taking Uber.

well at least Ovation is finally getting started after being the first ship to arrive.  Heck the Needle webcam was still working then.

However, I guess since Ovation and Encore came from Asia, they have more clearances to do and setups for testing.  And they had to wait I guess for the lovely CDC to allow them to test.

The later ships like HAL and X must have done test cruises already.

Still Ketchikan should be interesting and please take photos of the new dock a couple of miles away. You won't get to walk off the ship if she goes up there unless since no other ships in port, they MIGHT let Ovation into town dock.

Not all ships are doing test cruises.  If they limit to 95% vaccinated passenger, they do not need to.  It probably requires them to limit kids under 12.

Not sure of the dock situation but I do know that the Serenade used the floating dock just past the other ones.

Yay.  FWIW, I think they should provide it free to the test cruisers just so they can get the publicity.

They are limited in giving benefits and "rewards" for participating in the test by CDC rules.  Reports from other test cruises have indicated some nice upgrades to the food selection in the WJ for lunch, at least on boarding day.

I understand a few guests “will be designated” as “unvaccinated” and handled as such by the crew.  Probably also means limiting where they can go on the ship.  Sure don’t want to volunteer for that!!!

That is true.  No access to casino, Solarium, balcony only in theater and no mytime dinning.

.I would rather not be chosen for that.
