My understanding is you can use it for lunch as well... But with lunch being a lesser dollar amount, why would you want ti use it for lunch. Just pay the extra charge for the lunch and use the 3 night plan for dinner. JMO I have heard they will refund the UDP and let you keep your pre-paid dinner plans. They have it set up the way they do to let people have the UDP for a discounted rate. Trying to bypass the system will actually end up costing more in the long run.

Piggyback question (sorry) I had a cruise on Serenade canceled in Feb. 2022 due to it being a staff hospital for covid. Currenty the FCC is connected to my Feb 2023 cruise, which will be changing sometime in the next few weeks. If I don't use all the FCC or have to change the date further out, will this apply since it is not directly connected to the Global Suspention or will it default to the timeline I was given when Serenade was canceled? I am just trying to wrap my head around all the changes in my life right now. This is just a blip in my world turning upside down...again! If you have any input great!! If not I appreciate you reading this 🙂 Thanks in advance.

I wasn't thrilled the first time I cruised after they started leaving the cards on the door... My fear was they would take my card and charge up a bunch of crap before I got to the room! Then I saw my picture came up when they scan for purchases and that fear went away 😄 I would have never even concidered someone in my room!! So many strange questions running through my head!! Were you in a higher class cabin than then and they just randomly picked a cabin to squat in? Did hey think it was there room? Did they offer to show you any proof that it was their room? Did they have any explanation? When Royal did get there, I would imagine they were polite with the squatters, did they offer any explanation to either party?

Where does it say that? I have never read that in anything I have received. Nor has anyone ever said anything to me including a TV repair man or the Voom Desk who came in to our suite to figure out why we were unable to stream.

You will need a universal remote to access the inputs. The ones in the cabins may or may not allow access for the inputs

Completely Agree!! It seems like a waste not to use the free days but if you need/want internet the entire cruise, it costs less to purchase it pre-cruise

Very logical but any excuse I can use to cruise, count me in LOL I don't disagree with you! If I lived close to the port, or closer than I do now (17 some hours at best) I would have to weigh the pros, cons and financial

Between the Downey Wrinkle Releaser, the steam in the bathroom and a hair straighener (that I have only used on DHs tie once) I don't need anything pressed... since the restart I haven't worried about wrinkles... they are what they are

Why bother packing all that when you can get plates and covers with silverware from the MDR or WJ I wouldn't want to pack all that, and we drive to the port

My DH and I always take full meals to go from the MDR. He works swing shift and it is hard for us to adjust for 1-3 weeks. Talk with the waitstaff and explain it to him/her. There are times we have put the entree(s) and/or apps on one plate and there are times the waiter did.

We had 4 balconies on Anthem in 2016 and none had kettles. My friend has cruised on Anthem several times and never had any.

No but you can order it a carafe of hot water fro, Room Service for no charge (most hours) A tip an nice for the delivery person

You didn't say if you were trying to bring one or two bottles My Guess would actually be option number 4, Hold it until you get off the ship at the end of the cruise. But I am not 100% sure I definitely do not see #3 as an option AT ALL
