  1. Did a RCCL repo cruise from San Juan to Norfolk, VA. a few years ago.

It was RCCL's smallest ship at the time. The two nights from Bermuda to Norfolk was pretty bouncy.

DW woke up one morning feeling pretty sick. It seems her patch had come off in the night.

We are sailing on Dawn the end of October. Guess we'll just have to go with the flow or the bounce.

  2. We have sailed on RCCL twice with a business trade group (180 people).

We had large group tables (10 people) scattered around dining room at both sittings.

After the first couple of nights there were noticeable holes in the seating as people did their own thing.

Also, in a crowded and noisy dining room it is impossible to carry on an intelligent conversation with anyone more than two seats away.

I agree with earlier poster that maybe three round tables in an area seating six each would greatly enhance conversation. It can also be a moveable feast as people rotate from table to table.

  3. As OP said there are very few people eating lunch in the MDR, but I don't think it is due to sameness of menu. Other than embarkation day, I doubt that most people want to take the time for a sit down, white table cloth lunch. On most cruises, the majority of people are not even on the ship at lunch time.

I do understand that on a 14 day btb that it might be a little limited for someone eating there every day
