It's Christmas Eve and I don't know where, when, or what dinner will be. By May 3rd we will have completed two more cruises on different cruise lines. I do hope you find some satisfaction at eight'o clock that evening.

App? She just got flush toilets and 110 volt electricty!
-
Don't remember their names....She was from Russia and he was from Australia. Glad we found them early on in our cruise.

I don't get the need to quote the entire previous post on a reply.

TSA had taken my knives over the years. They have always been "Gentlemen's knife", stainless usually about 3" long. It never made sense to go back to the parking lot and my car to get rid of them. There's a place in Scottsboro, AL which has an unclaimed luggage store. Might run down there and try to purchase some back!

If you never missed some sort of feed bucket on a cruise I think you are good. If you can't find food.....that's entirely on you!

Always show up for MTD when you think you want to eat. Choices are together or a group. Can always eat with her but have made great life long cruise friends joining a group. Only have 104 cruise under our belt, but 5,6, and seven booked!

Have always been able to get fresh squeezed in the WJ! Extra charge if you don't have the drink package!

And they use to deliver 4000 pieces instead of 30,000 pieces.

Can't help but share my frustration with Charleston. They need to send a group to Baltimore and see how much better a cruise terminal can be.

Past 3 years is a qualifier!

Yeah probably about 5 or 6 years ago. I'd have to drag out some old pictures to pin it down. We had "our" spot at a table in the shade with a operating window on the port side of the pool deck where friends could always find us.

It use to be on the Starboard side forever until some genius figured out that the air intakes for the ventilation system were also on that side. That's, as I understand it, is when they switched the smoking to the Port side.

I just find a friendly person who is on the internet and ask if I can go to Southwest. Have never been refused. Got both me and Nancy's boarding pass and thanked the user and left with a smile!

I'm on my 6th passport and I've changed a little!

Don't ask.....Don't tell!

I've had a cabin change 3 times from the time we got out of the cab, waited to check in, and finally got changed again before climbing aboard. I just kept checking at the original cabin doors for our luggage. No big deal, but you've got plenty time!

We pins always take advantage. Wear them on our two piece bathingsuit or one piece speedo. In the morning pin them on our RCCI genuine terrycloth 2000 denier, bathrobes, white socks, and flip flops and head to the Solarium to claim our pin-for-aday lounger with a genuine RCCL towelclip and do a few laps around the area to make sure you are being properly recognized before you head back to your stateroom for a pampered breakfast!

I forgot to mention that is you put a strip of velcro on the back side of the card so it sticks to your shirt, you can be sure others can recognize your cruiseline or cabin status!

We just got 4 new lanyards in the mail today from Amazon with the Patriots logo on them to add to our collection of about 2 dozen. The hole punched ones are a lot easier to use than the one in the plastic pouch. You can insert them in your cabin door, give them to your server etc. without having to remove them from the pouch.

Sounds like a lot of walking. We have handicap and probably couldn't do that.

It's a totally different experience. We've been on 100+ cruises from various ports. Not knowing the timeline or procedure, we drove from our overnight stay in Orangeburg, SC and arrived at the port about 8:00. They allowed us to go to the check-in tent and do our parking arrangement. Then we proceeded to the porter's area where they ransomed our luggage for a 5 foot movement. We were delighted as things were going so smoothly.
Asked where we should go next to park....we were told we couldn't but had to leave the enclosed area, and come back at 10:30 or 11:00.
With 2 teenage boys in the back seat anxious to get on with it. Having a breakfast in Orangeburg and hour and half earlier I asked the officer at the gate what we should do. He shrugged his shoulders.
Never been to there before.....no map.....downtown on a Sunday is when everyone within an hour's drive come to the market.
No place to park...going around and around, bitching from the back seat. Went back to the port. This was on a Sunday and people were lined up on the side streets, parking on the wrong side of the street because business's weren't open but were pointed to the gate getting in.
Folks who were also waiting became fast friends because the situation was so strange.
Doing this again in March....I'm nuts!
My time dining.
