  1. What kind of cabin were you in on the Marina. Anything less than a Penthouse and it's way too small imo. You need to be in a penthouse on Oceania in order to compare apples with apples to Seabourn's regular suites even though the PH on Marina is larger.

We were in Penthouse Suite on the Riviera - really nice cabin!

  2. When all is said and done and cut it up many different ways Oceania is more expensive than Seabourn when you compare correctly the like for like items.
I paid € 2.499 for my seven night cruise with the Sojourn. If it ist the same I would book seabourn!
  3. The house beverage package is worthless as far as I'm concerned. It's very limited and doesn't include top shelf liquor or decent wines. You have to get the Prestige package to make it even close to what you get on Seabourn and that costs $65 pp per day.

sorry, it was my fault. It was the prestige beverage package. We could order liquor on the bars too! So it was like Seabourn!

  4. Stefan Cruise, are you talking about Oceania or another cruise line? If it was Oceania, how did you find this all-inclusive offer? On their website, through another, perhaps discount, cruise website, or through your travel agent? I am curious. Thanks.

Hi! Directly in the oceania website about five months ago. It was a PH2 on the riviera for the cruise from the 12th to 19th of august leaving from Monte Carlo.

  5. Unless you sign up for their beverage package at $130 a day for two. Over the course of a two week cruise that adds over $1800 to your costs.

You should book a cruise where the package is included in the cruise fare. We paid about € 1.739,-- for one week per person and the tipps as well as the house beverage package was included! So we had a zero balace at check out.

  6. I was on the Riviera in august 2015 (1st time on oceania) and on the Sojourn in october 2015 (5th time on seabourn). Food was 1 star better on seabourn (better tasting, more variety on the salad bar items, always fresh fruits etc), Service was more personel on seabourn, Cabin was better on Riviera (Penthouse Suite).

  7. We (my wife and I) where in the Luminae 15 minutes ago (we are on the Connie). Food was great and the service too. I will post a few pictures at home in the next two or three days.

Food on the Constellation is really great (I know what excellent food ist - we sailed five times with Seabourn in the last five years)!

  8. I looked at one of their brochures recently and threw it away. The prices were almost double X's.

We booked a cruise on the riviera for august 2015 in the med (7 night)! The price was € 1.739,-- per person in the PH-Suite including the tips and the alcoholic beverage package. The price for the sky suite on the X Constellation in july 2015 (Med too) was about € 2.150,-- including tips, classic beverage package and $ 500,-- onboard credit!

  9. I went back into the Kreuzfahrten website, I saw no translation page, I did see that in other countries throughout Europe this same website is used, I read a blog of a Canadian reserving a cruise through them, they list all the WS cruises that I can tell and some do not have prices like the Tall Ships but it does not say full, the prices listed are ranges, I am thinking of writing an email, but need time my writing it not as good as my reading, no time today and on one page they listed what was included with the price and it was the same as we get. Like WS there the taxes are not listed. A mystery! I will try to get an email out later and respond to cc when I get an answer. Susanne

In Germany and Austria the taxes are included in the price!

  10. This is exactly what kept me from booking a GTY-suite. That is an accessible Sky Suite, which although bigger, has a bathroom set-up that I would not want.

    HI!

I don´t have a problem with an accessible Sky suite. The suite is about 1/3 larger than the regular Sky suite. The bathroom is different compared to the regular Sky suite!

  11. Hi!

This is my first celebrity cruise (out of 20 with other companies).

I booked the cruise via an online TA about two weeks ago. I have the status "booked" in my celebrity! I can´t find the beverage pkg and I can´t find the eDocs and the cabin # (just GTY)! The cruise is in 37 days! Is this usual?

I got an invoice with all the perks from my online TA but no invoice from celebrity! Is this right?

Could someone tell me where I can book the specialty restaurants (there should be two free visits for suite pax) online?

    Best wishes

    Stefan

  12. Hi Suite Susie!

You should book via an US-TA. I don´t live in the US and booked the cruise via a US-Internet-TA! I booked about five cruises in the US. Sometimes it is cheaper than in Europe but not everytime. My Oceania Cruise was only half the price in Germany compared to the price in the US!

  13. Hi!

Two days ago we booked a GTY Suite on the Constellation for the sailing on the 11th of july from Venice. There was a price difference between GTY and S1 (about $ 550,-- per person - although the price was really unexpensive $ 4.564,-- for both for a 8 night cruise including $ 500,-- OBC, free classic beverage package and free tips). With the booking I made the final payment. There are 46 days to the embarkation!

Does anyone now when celebrity is showing the cabin number (there a six suites left to book)?

P.S. I booked a lot of GTY cabins with Seabourn! And always got a nice cabin!

  14. Hi!

My wife and I are planing a cruise with the rhapsody this summer. There is a special for the grand suites.

    1) Has anyone been in a GS on rhapsody with the cabin number 8508 or near that cabin number?

    2) Are they looking "old and tired" or has there been a refurbishement?

    3) Has anyone used the concierge lounge? Are there any sodas or drinks?

    Thank you und best wishes

    Stefan
