Here is the important question, what kind of animal is that chick that jumped in the hot tub after the drunk left. You have to KNOW that water is at least 75% urine after he was done.
I thought that was odd too. My first thought was "you do not want to be in there!" I guess she did. Those poor security officers that fell in. Ew.

A big thanks to xenagurl for starting this thread and everyone else to for posting their pictures in it...they are all wonderful to see!
You might get an idea from my username and avatar that seeing sunrises and sunsets is something that I really enjoy! :D
Thanks again to everyone for sharing your wonderful images!
And thank you and everyone else that has shared, liked the thread idea and are enjoying viewing. I love happy threads where everyone can share the things that make cruising, traveling and living special.

I've not cruised on the Getaway alone but I have on the Epic. You'll be seated alone at the specialty dining restaurants with the exception of Teppanyaki and that Chef's dinner (I forget the name) where the 12 people are seated together around the table. If you'd like company it's not hard to find. Honestly I think it's harder to be left to one's own devices and to have a chance to eat alone when cruising solo.
Attending solo meets, Meet and Greets and just generally chatting with people you meat during the day on the ship and excursions on shore will leave you with plenty of table mate choices. Bon Voyage!

@triptolemus @mking8288 Can you try uploading again. For some reason your photos aren't showing and I'd love to see them!
@barnacle_boy More great shots! I am noting all of your tips and thank you for the suggestion, I will try that! Nope you're right a waterpark that large floating under a bridge...that has to be seen!

Please keep them coming everyone, these photos are so beautiful. They helped me to convince the mister to book another trip with me. The Breakaway in Sept!

@LrgPizza Port photos are welcome too! I should have said Sunsets and Sunrises around the world. Anything that sparks the travel bug and wanderlust! :D

Gorgeous! I can stare at these all day. They're calming and awe inspiring!
Thanks for sharing everyone, please keep them coming. @barnacle_boy Really awesome vantage points, you've given me ideas! @LrgPizza That storm looks so ominous! @KJE Atlanta Hiiiii! Love the photos!
@Everyone I love all of these! I'm staring and each and everyone and then going back and looking at them again. I'm going to show the Mr. to inspire him to come on another cruise with me.

From the Gem this past January. I stayed out on the balcony looking at it for ages.

Sunsets and Sunrises from the ship.
Share your favorites please.
(I didn't notice a thread like this in the Norwegian Cruise Line forum and I thought it would be a nice sharing thread.)

Ben that food looks delicious. Such a big meal for such a little Bendy Guy. :D

Xeeeeeeeeeeenaaaaaaaaa!!! When are we cruising again together! LOL Dunno about VIP... I haven't yet figured out if NCL thinks Ben's famous or infamous :p I think the TSA opened my check in bag and inspected my 30 pounds of beads and dozens of Bendy's because my luggage lock was opened. :D:eek:
Hi Kylenyc! :D Soon I hope. I'm reading of all of these escapades of yours thinking "wouldn't that be fun"!. I'll drop you a line on FB. :)

I'd noticed the video on YouTube but didn't realize that some of these were free options. Thanks for posting. I'm definitely going to be booking that along with the Norwegian Escape. So many new ships across the cruising world, it's a fun time to be cruising.

Living the good life Ben! I enjoy reading about your adventures. Did the rude Delta agent not realize just whom she was dealing with? I think that if she'd fully known it was Ben Bendyman she might have given you VIP status! ;)

I've not traveled on Princess but I have taken the TA from Miami to Barcelona on the Epic twice, in 2012 and 2013. If you have any particular questions, I'd be happy to answer them. I also have write ups and highlights of both on my blog.

That's great, they do seem to try to be accommodating. Thanks for relaying a positive experience.

what a great idea! i will do that for each cruise i go on from now on! lol...i am entitled to my opinion...and yes, i waaaah and it's not fair....and if you don't like it, then skip over my posts!
I wasn't referring to YOU. I didn't get the impression from your post that you were complaining, but hey if the shoe fits you really ought to wear it. I will be skipping your posts because I'm ignoring your sensitive CC persona from now on.

I think it's perfectly fine- that's what a "guarantee cabin" is all about. Take the gamble and you may hit the jackpot :)
I'm totally with you on this. I'm a "Platinum" latitudes member (waaaaaay tooo much is thought of this by some people) and frequent cruiser and I think it's awesome that this happened to them. :D As long as I get what I pay for I'm happy, and while there will always be those "waaaah but what about me, it's not fair" types that will wonder why it didn't happen for them, that's life. There are always people that whine about anything and everything, I highly doubt this will be the be straw that makes them go to another line, however now NCL has won over new customers.

What a wonderful experience! Awesome! Thanks for sharing! :)

Great review a truly enjoyable read. Thanks! :)

We were there earlier this month. We took the tender from the ship and just walked around and bought items from some of the vendors that were set up. (About 50 stalls). There were lots of other tourist walking along the boardwalk so we didn't feel uncomfortable. However we didn't stray from that area.

Great photo tour. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing. :)

I'd be happy if I owed them $6.20 instead of the $620 that I often do at the end of a cruise. LOL

Thanks for sharing Ben!

I've been on the Jade once in 2011, and twice in 2012. I'd hope to book her next month but she's been commissioned as housing during the Olympic games I hear, so I'm on the Spirit. I've info on my Jade trips in my blog. She's one of my faves of the fleet, her quirky decor is quite appealing to me. :)
Home from the Pearl! Was a great vacation!
