The SAD lights are reputed to really help - by the people who are fans, of course! But seriously, I dislike the short winter days and, in the absence of winter cruising last year, decided that I would get one if I found myself feeling low. Happily, for me, that wasn’t the case, and I guess my daily dog walk gave me enough light. Unhappily, for you, that means I can’t give a personal recommendation or experience.
I think they come in from £50, up to over £100
When I was working I used a daylight alarm clock, which simulates dawn and let’s you come to gently, without a jangling bell. That worked really well, except that the training has stayed with me and I wake stupidly early in summer. That might help validate the power of light though.
If you get one, let us know how you get on. If I get one, I’ll report back
(Is this where I should give a progress report on the cheapo air fryer, and say that we were very pleased with the roast potatoes? We’re as good as Which, aren’t we? 🤣)
