You can get them whenever you want. Our butler first started bringing them around 4:30. We asked if he could bring them a little earlier, because we liked to nap between 4 and 6. From then on, he brought them to us at 3:00.

Don't Celebrity people read this site? I have seen responses from them on various threads, so I assume they do.
Why has no one addressed this ongoing issue?

I've been trying to book excursions for over a month and have gotten the "due to website updates this feature cannot be displayed.".... "website updates"? If that wasn't so pathetic, I would laugh.

We were in a Celebrity Suite and asked our butler if we could exchange the wine. He went to customer relations and was told that they no longer accommodate that request.

We find the idea of prebooking a set time defeats the purpose of flexibility. I mean, how do we know in advance that a particular time is going to be when we feel like eating?
We found the longest wait we had was about 10 minutes, and that was at 7:40. Other than that, we pretty much were led right in.
I am not sure if we were so fortunate because we always said we were willing to share a table (we eat with just each other all year long, and like to be sociable with others on cruises) or we just picked good times, but never had a problem with select.
Interestingly, on a 2 week cruise, we found half the time we were seated in the same area with the same waitstaff, and frequently had the same tablemates!

We preferred the Tuscan Grill, as well. Murano gets the bigger hype, but we thought the food was decidedly better at the Tuscan.

I have found cruisers' ages are more based on length and itinerary than on the cruiseline. We were on Holland America (famed for their ancient cruisers) on a one week Eurodam.... the passengers skewed much younger than they did on our 2 week transatlantic on Celebrity. Same with RCI...the longer the cruise, the older the crowd.
Go more for what your expectations are for cruising than anything else.

Hi all Please what or where is a suite 16---thanks
The first 8 balcony cabins on each side of Deck 6 on the Millennium class ships have much larger balconies than the others in the class of cabin (regular 2c). For this reason they are called the sweet 16 and are a virtually unknown bonus to Celebrity reservations and most travel agents.
We booked cabin 6028 on our upcoming cruise for this reason.
Google sweet 16 Millennium and then go to images....you will see what I mean

Thanks for the info, everyone.
As it stands we apparently lucked out when we booked 4 months ago, cos we got one of the sweet 16 on the starboard side. It just worked out that way. Now those are all gone.
So looking forward to this cruise!

I went to a certain site to see what cabins were still available for our Alaska cruise on the Millennium.
Interestingly, almost all the starboard cabins with balconies were sold out, whereas there were plenty of port cabins still available, including the sweet 16.
Can I deduce from this that starboard is better heading up the coast?

We were given slippers in a celebrity suite, but not when we were in a regular verandah cabin. They were pretty crappy slippers, to be honest. Never wore em.

They're still having issues. Unless cruisetour 10A to Alaska on June 6th really *is* $99,999 for veranda, cc, aqua, and suites....
-
About 4 months ago, we booked the Millennium for June. As we always do, we check the prices periodically to see if there have been any reductions. But every time I check, the price has gone up.
As of now, our cruisetour is $855 more per person than we are paying!
The veranda prices are now what the suite prices were 4 months ago.
Has anyone see this before?
I'm not complaining, but this is the first time I have seen such a jump in fares.

On our transatlantic on the equinox last year, we booked a suite guarantee and were immediately assigned a sky suite. A week later, when pulling up my reservation, I noticed we were in a Celebrity suite. No notification, nothing.
I called my travel agent to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me and she said she was wondering if I would notice, before she called and told us.
Yep, they upgraded us. Dunno why, since we are not elite members or anything resembling a VIP... but we sure were glad for the upgrade!

What itinerary? If it's warm weather, the dress will be the same as Carnival....shorts and tops during the day.
Contrary to popular belief of many of the people here who have never been on Carnival, the people don't dress any differently during the day than they do on Celebrity. In the evening, there is a more casual take on dining, but other than that, no difference.

You can indeed order 2 appetizers. You cannot order 2 entrees. You will probably find that you are full without the second appetizer, however.
Bon appetite!

I think the only valid solution is to pay 3 times more and cruise on a more luxurious line. The dining on SilverSea, Seaborn, Crystal or Regent will have excellent dining experiences in their main dining room.
They also cost more than eating in a specialty restaurant every night on one of the mainstream lines.
If one loves cruising, there are always alternatives to getting the experience you desire.

Not only was the Love & Marriage aired on the cabin TV on the Fantasy a few years back, the next day they showed highlights of the show too.
The Love & Marriage show is not adults only...they never show the X-rated comedy show on the cabin TV...

It may depend on the ship. We just got off the Dream, and the host was carefully checking anyone who looked like they were under 18, sending them off if they were.

Hard to believe that 3 people said Tampa. Sure I would LOVE that, being only 50 minutes away, but maybe they forgot that megaships can't sail out of the port. There's that little thing called the Skyway bridge, and the shallower channel waters.

I saw where someone who put their review in the shore excursion section said that the thing they loved about fttf was going to the front of the line at the dining room with Your Time dining. Is this true? I was not aware that this was a perk with fttf. Anyone know?

Thanks for responding!

My husband has a bad back, and spends 20 minutes a day upside down on this thing.
Does anyone know if the gyms on the Solstice class ships have this particular apparatus?
Thanks,

Review the cruise line policy on smoking before you book.
This is good advice, just as doing a search in a forum to see how many times this issue has been brought up is a good idea, too.

There is no way of knowing...unless you ask one of the waiters and they happen to know.
When you get the blue cheese, it is already out of the wrapping.
