  1. Thanks. With the price per person breakout, I lose over $4,000 in discounts. I think it must be a glitch in their system that is showing additional discounts on the summary that are not really there. Would have been too good of a deal to pass up.
  2. I am lookig at a cruise on RCL's website. The total fare for 3 daults and 1 child is below. Shouldn't the total price be Subtotal + Taxes/Fees? Cruise fare $13,132.00 Discounts (4) Flash Sale Instant Savings $-550.00 30% Savings NRD $-792.00 30% off and Kids Sail Free $-7,013.00 Balc Suite NRD $-678.00 Subtotal $4,099.00 Taxes & fees $569.24 Due today $1,000 Total Price $8,733.24 USD $1,000.00 $8,733.24 USD
  3. Thank you Laudergayle. We booked 3 cabins. 1 balcony (8738) and 2 studios for family. We purchaed the $250 CruiseFirst promotion for all 3 cabins and received the bonus on each cabin and took advantage of the credit card offer. Now to get thru the next four cruises on RCL and CCL before this one in 2025.
  4. I found my answer on NCL's websitr. Your CruiseFirst certificate(s) may be redeemed as a deposit or as a payment towards your new reservation’s grand total with a sail date greater than 120 days from purchase date. New reservations must be in the same currency as your CruiseFirst certificate. Reservation currencies vary by market and certificates are not eligible to be exchanged to another currency.
  5. I booked a balcony cabin on Escape yesterday and paid the 1/2 pp deposit. I am now researching and saw a program named CruiseFirst. Can I purchase a CruiseFirst Certificate and apply it to the booking I reserved yesterday? Or is cruisefirst only applicable at the time of applying deposit? It is a "New" cruise. I'm just confusted by the term "New".
  6. Disregard my previous post. I got cruisefirst and cruisenext mixed up. I'm guessing cruisenext are purchased onboard while sailing and cruisefirst can be purchased online. ??
  7. Is this offer for anyone, or just certain levels in the Latitude program? I am Bronze and just booked a cruise yesterday. Balcony. January 2025 14-day. Would I be able to purchase 3 NC and apply to the price? We're Diamond on RCCL and Platinum on Carnival, so thought it was time to get back on NCL.
  8. Jimbo, as I stated on my original post, I'm not looking for comments from "tee-totlers". Your comment here seems very judgmental, and I'm sure you would not appreciate being judged by strangers on the internet based on any comments you make. You live your life and let others live theirs without your judgment.
  9. We have purchased the drink package for every cruise since they started offering them and always felt as though we got our money's worth. We are approaching our very first Diamond cruise. I know we get 4 drink vouchers each (both of us are Diamond), but we will drink more than those 4. I'm not sure where the break even point is for Diamonds. We are going with a group of 8, so there will be morning mimosa or bloody mary, afternoon drinks, before dinner wine, wine with dinner, after dinner drinks, etc. So if you are Diamond or + and purchased the drink package along with your 4 drinks, did you feel like you got your money's worth? No comments needed from the "tee-totalers". I may comment back and hurt your feelings.
  10. I booked my SIL as a single in a promenade cabin months ago for our upcoming February cruise. She now may want to bring a friend. The current rate is much higher than when we booked her as a single occupancy. If we add her friend, do they just add port charges and taxes for the new person, or do they charge the current double occupancy fare? I should know this as many cruises as I've been on, but I'm afraid I made a rookie mistake by not just booking double occupancy in the beginning.
  11. I received a FCC today from a cancelled cruise. I just paid off my cruise two days ago, but I still have a balance on my Sister in law's cabin on the same cruise. I see that I can transfer the FCC to another person. Can anyone tell me how that works? Do they just apply the FCC to my SIL's booking? or do the have to transfer the FCC to her name, which may take weeks, and then apply it to her booking? I manage all of our cruises together and they are happy to let me handle it. I'm just worried if they have to transfer it to her name, she may miss an email from RCCL with the FCC that we will need to apply to her booking.
