Still debating this? I’ve come to the conclusion that many of you should not cruise or stay in hotels. Whether it’s the VAT (visible or not visible), resort fees at a hotel, city tax, etc, etc…we all pay it (them). Whether you want to or not is a different story. But, if you DON’T want to, don’t get drinks on your cruise. At least on NCL, it’s visible. On other cruise lines, it’s “baked into”’the drink package cost, where you may not even see it. Or, only sail to/from ports that do not require you to pay taxes while docked or in their territorial waters. If you still want to protest it, contact Spain’s Tourism Offices and let them know your feelings!

She’s excellent. She mentioned that she may not re-up again. Her family is in the restaurant business in the Philippines and they want her to work in the family business. if I remember, I’ll ask her how long the current contract is. Waitstaff in the Haven has been superb, which has been expected!

Barcelona weather….

Cagney’s….I know it’s not to everyone’s liking. But, this time…quite good

Concierge says ~4,200 and change guests on board!

I did the “hop on/hop off bus today. Just checked out the slides. Was thinking of it, but have Cagney’s in 45 mins. Tight to “flush”, dry, change and get to dinner!

No clue. Having Free at Sea, I have yet to receive a receipt for anything. I won’t look until I think of it! I can’t skirt any taxes, so there‘s nothing I can do about it, anyway!

Martini Bar!

You know…every time I walk an aisle way I have at least one smile. The pics are not fine art, but they sure are fun!

It didn’t have all the machines the main gym has, nor any free weights. But, if all you wanted was a cardio workout and a “lite” workout with nautilus, without being with others, I suppose it works. I’m with you. The views alone makes me prefer the main gym!
