  1. Todays sale was good to me. I saw a drop of $200 each and OBC of $450 for our cabin. This is a 14 night cruise. The other cruise of 11 nights went up $200 each and only $200 for the total cabin OBC. The latter cruise is more in demand. Both from Europe.

So I am pleased that I have the option of buying a drinks package with the savings, so its a win this time for us as we rebooked the 14 night cruise.

  2. It is most unfair the sipn sail not offered to uk customers. That is two customers who do at least two cruises a year that princess have lost to this .

How does Princess prevent people that live in the UK from booking a cruise with the Sip and Sale package using a non UK travel agent? Booking a cruise this way seems like a better option than not taking the cruise that you desire.

It does seem really unfair to have different and better promotions than what we have in Australia. We can only complain to Princess and see what happens...

We have been told we cannot book through the US as we need a US address although I know some people do. Also that we may not be allowed to board if we do. I would prefer to stick with an Australian agent.

  3. I was on a Quark expedition, this year and this really is the best way to see the Antarctica. I felt like an explorer as opposed to being on a cruise ship doing my usual cruising thing. Price was a lot more of course..

  4. I agree. First I thought the prices would be available when logging in to my Captains circle. I like to compare prices for the cabins etc and locations. Quite a few cabins were not available where I wanted to book. Very disappointing. However I did book as its the only cruise doing what we wanted in that area.

  5. Seriously this new Premier price is ridiculous. My husband drinks beer so that he can have a few without getting drunk. Plus his coffee and he loves his water so it was worth getting the package. Not anymore. If we continue to cruise with princess then we will avoid anything Princess as in tours, shopping etc... very disappointing.

Also is it correct that our Sip and Sale promotion is for softdrink and not alcohol?? Not the same as the US??

  6. We buy the package for my husband as the only sip and sale promotion here in Australia and New Zealand is for softdrinks. I wont go into that as it is so unfair.

We buy the package for my husband so that we can relax on our holiday and not count costs... no bill at the end.

The package has increased to about $30 a day... and then limited... I can understand it being limited but not the huge increase.

We wont be buying and we will look at other cruise lines. We are elite so it is disappointing.
