  1. I think you are spot on. We have bookings with Flightease and got an email last week stating something along the lines that as the call in wait times and response time is long, if you are travelling within 7 days and there us a change, you can cancel and rebook yourself (direct with airlines or whatever) and they waive the cancellation charge. Basically, "there is no easy way right now, if you can do better yourself - go for it!" 🙂 Found the statement we received - ""Thank you for purchasing your flights through Holland America Line's Flight Ease air. Due to an unprecedented number of airline schedule changes and cancellations, our team is currently managing an extremely high call volume with long hold times. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. We are working on changes in travel date order, and appreciate your patience. We respectfully ask that guests and travel advisors only call if your flight is in the next seven days. If your flights have changed and you would prefer to rebook your flights yourself, you may cancel your flight through the Flight Ease tool and we will waive any cancel fees so you may rebook through Flight Ease or purchase independent air.""
  2. Yes, I think it was a mistake in the review to have called it an accessible cabin. (I guess because it was larger with a separate shower?) , but indeed it is just a family room (FB) and not an 'accessible" suite, so we can enjoy the few extra feet without guilt! 😃
  3. Thanks, I just checked again and it is considered a Family room (FB). A review stated that it was accessible which I guess maybe it is because it is a little bigger. Either way, it's a larger room than standard OV so happy if we get it. Nice to have that seperate shower room.
  4. We are leaving this Sunday for our Alaskan cruise on the Koningsdam (Jun 11). It was a 'free OV' Casino room - and just checked our boarding pass and we have been assigned an accessible room on the 1st floor. I really have no concern about what room I am in, but am somewhat surprised it is an accessible room as we have no need for one. Is it likely just a place holder until we board or do they assign those rooms to fully able bodied passengers if not needed by others? Again, just a curiosity... wouldn't mind the extra space though 🤔
  5. I agree - A coupe of weeks ago I starting getting the "check in now" from Holland - I think a month before the cruise and was wondering the same thing. As I went though the check in process last week (I couldn't take the hounding anymore - haha) , I realized they probably really just want a larger window of time for certainty that you understand everything about cruising at this time.
  6. What error are you getting when you try to use the card? Have you tried using the "check you balance" on the card - just to validate you have the correct PIN? https://wbiprod.storedvalue.com/wbisoa/lookupservlet?language=en&host=hollandamerica.com&XID=HECEZ38
  7. Sadly I'll never know, but, if I was getting $18000 of free rooms, whether it is $100 or $200 OBC for the room would not be of any concern for me. 😃
  8. We are in a similar situation having moved last month and cruising in 2 weeks. We have been changed our addresses with HAL through our PCC. The clincher for us is what address does the bank have? That had to change when we moved since we sold our house and bank was involved. That then leads to our VISA billing address which is tied to that bank. Anytime that VISA is being used, it verifies the billing address which in our case is the new address - and hence why we changed it with HAL. Haven't bothered with the other lines yet as we are not sailing then in 2022.
