If you're talking about a certificate you received while onboard a cruise based on your points accumulated during that cruise, it's my understanding that the cash value of a certificate (either a $-off or a $-off-in-lieu-of-a-listed-free-cruise) is available for any cruise of your choice as long as it satisfies the time requirements (must be booked within 30 days and must sail within one year of the certificate issuance).

If, on the other hand, you're talking about some direct mail offer you've received from Casino Royale, you'll need to check the terms and conditions for that particular offer. Usually they are much more restricted.

Daghis- no- this is from an online list at club royale of cruise discount offers-

Taking my boyfriend on his first cruise.  He turns 40 in February 2020 so I am going to give it to him then.  Gotta admit - BF really likes his beer; he's a fan of the IPA. Any beers/microbreweries/beer tours we should check out?

Love, love, love Alaska Amber and Alaska White beer!

I think the only restriction is that the cruise can't sail over most holidays.

Daghis- on our list of casino offers- would the same holiday restriction apply for a discounted cruise- say $400 off on a 2020 Europe or Alaska cruise.  We leave July 3 for a 7 night Alaska so it is over the 4th of July.

Is Izumi worth a dinner or lunch on the unlimited dining package if you do not like sushi/ raw or undercooked fish?

yes because they now offer hibachi as well so if you have ever been to a hibachi restaurant- they cook it all in front of you on a big grill with people sitting all around like in a square.  It is wonderful!  All cooked chicken, shrimp, etc.

I've noticed you can book glacier dogsledding in both Juneau & Skagway.  Any ideas regarding which port is the best for booking dogsledding?

I always book direct with Coastal Helicopters in Juneau.  I have gone dogsledding on the glacier three times now and have had a great time each time.  All of the major helicopter companies are closely priced.

Both have a balcony deeper than most.

This video is from Anthem and deck six, but same on Ovation.  It compares 6648 and 6650.  It confused me at first but then I realize they had both cabins with the balcony divider open and walked from 6648 balcony to the 6650 balcony through the open balcony divider.

thanks so much for your help

The balconies on the 5 night Nov 9th are only a few dollars more than the 4 night on the 5th

Yup- that is always the case for inaugural cruises- they are always more because they are the first one- thats why i go for the second or third one.  LOL

  8. I paid $931 for 5 night (first cruise following the inaugural cruise ) for a solo balcony.  :0  It is on the US website but if you search for the ship- it is not listed.  You have to put in either 2-5 nights or 6-8 and then November 2020 and then you will the 4 night inaugural cruise, the 5 night on Nov 9 and then the 6 night after that.

yes if you put in the 2-5 or 6-8 then select Nov 2020 you will see it.  I just booked a solo balcony for the second sailing which is Nov 9.  Inaugural is 4 night on Nov 5  The one i booked is 5 days and then there is a 6 night after that
