Seriously?!?  I am from Canada.  Not some whining Karen from California or Arizona. Our Owners Suite temperature has been on average 15 to 17 degrees Celsius.  I didn't pay well north of $20K to have to wear my down jacket inside my suite to keep from catching my death of cold.  But so happy for you that it wasn't a 'big deal'.

Feng, I was describing MY experience, not yours.  I am 9000 miles from you and have no idea of the temperature in your suite.  MY experience was not a "big deal."  But a glass-walled suite near the poles will be difficult to heat, and people reading this thread should understand that.

  2. Been to Antarctica on Quest in a portside Owner's Suite.  Yes, the latge glass area made the suite chilly.  Not really a big deal or worth a Cruise Critic complaint.  Crew taped one of the two sliders shut to reduce cold air infiltration and that helped.  Not at all surprised there have not been complaints.  It's cold near the poles.  Even in their summer.  We put on another layer.

Because the  Discoveries Menus were not  available on the  TV screen prior to booking the Speciality  and the Patio evening we changed to  was weather dependent .
My initial comment was to highlight  that people change plans for whatever reason so there may be choices of dates and times that become available during the cruise.

Postings like this may yet convince me there should be a limit on how many specialty restaurant reservations a stateroom can make, although my gut dislikes that idea.  If enough early reservers book every night 'just in case' to give themselves unfettered flexibility to choose later, this board will be inundated with justified complaints about access to the specialties.

We enjoyed the mixing of the other venues as the two Speciality restaurants can get a little repetitive.

Then why book every night upon boarding?  Takes slots away from others who then walk away from the reservation table frustrated and unhappy.

I can’t seem to find a link to actually look at flights

Call the Azamara number and say you want to book flights.   Here's what Azamara sent in response to my email asking for a phone number:

"Yes, we do provide flights through Azamara. Please give our US Customer Service Team a call on 001-833-292-2292 and they can assist you with arranging this."

I count 109 staterooms and suites available on a different site that still shows choice of accommodation. Although the Spa Suites were not showing available despite the email offering a bid option.

Who knows!  Rather feels nothing is quite a certainty recently.

Same upgrade invitation, different cruise...that's sold out.

Appears upgrade bidding is live and back in operation.

The minimum bid pricing is around the same as difference in price between N1 and the above listed options at the time of booking.

Quite happy where I am, will not be bidding.

Yes, just received the same bid opportunity.  Azamara website says the cruise is sold out.🙄

Agreed. I drink Perrier, and it's a shame it costs $23.95 per day to get it (or pay by the bottle).

Interesting that a leading US consumer magazine downgraded Perrier for insufficient bubbles.  Some can't get beyond labels.

Not our experience at all. Our cruises autumn 2022 and March 23 on 2 different ships were just as good as ever - great service & good food.

Ours, too.  Looking forward to our five upcoming Onward cruises..

But the cruise experience seems as good as ever!

I don't understand all the whining.  If someone has never cruised Azamara, why should that someone get the same status as someone who has 30, 40, 50 or more Azamara cruises?  Cruising mass-market lines like Royal Caribbean and Celebrity is not cruising Azamara.  If Azamara had not started as part of Celebrity and therefore had to share the loyalty program, it would have been cleaner, better and would have recognized the significant differences in cost and cruising experience..

As a counter experience although pardon any ignorance I have on the real deal The Rijstaffel was the high spot of our speciality dining on two cruises . If you are on a ship where Iwan is F and B manager he’s your expert and ensures a great experience

Went to one with someone who grew up with Rijstaffels and thought the one on Azamara was excellent.

Arabic was cancelled on my Journey cruise last October.  They haven't yet found a third menu with consistent appeal.  [They don't read this, but I keep suggesting Spanish...]

Works on Windstar in Cuadro 44.
