I fly from AKL to LAX usually annually.

Suggestions already noted are good.

Get onto local time the second you get onto the flight, or even at the airport.

A decent meal does wonders too!

I pack light, so bringing one of those neck pillows seems redundant. Use some clothes as a pillow.

I'm not the most social either, but let me assure you people are far friendlier on a cruise than out in the "real world". Strike up a conversation - you'll go places yet!

She's going to Carnival Australia [homeport Sydney]. Spirit is re-positioning to Brisbane year round.

Now if only Carnival actually homeported here for at least a couple months of the year, huh?

There are some serious stinkers in the reviews dept. Do they even get screened properly? I made it a point to write a detailed review last time.

It's a game of telephone onboard and off whenever something like this happens. Questionable whether there were any other witnesses at all.
