We are booked for 2 person tours ( unless I get another couple to join us) for 3 ports with RIL. My question is, how much to tip the driver/guide as well as Vatican guide?

I am waiting to here if we can get another couple to share our planned tours with RIL. Has anyone "booked a car with them with the understanding that there may be 2 or 4 people. I want to make sure we will have the service, how late can / should I wait to book ?

I'm a little confused about RIL. Is the driver, just a driver, or is he/she a guide as well ? Would I need to hire a guide in addition to the drive, for a private tour of 2 or 4 people for Rome ?

Also, as far as the Euro travelers checks, in the email I got the other day from RIL, they said cash was the only final payment way.

We are looking at cabin VA7095 or VA7097 on the Westerdam. I am trying to find out if the balconies above can see down into our balcony.

Does anyone know?

 

Also my research shows the rear is slightly less bouncy and deck 7 is a very good deck.

 

Mostly we are concerned that we have some privacy on our deck and there is not to much noise.

Don't know if this helps, but we were on this ship this past Oct. & were in 6105, a great room & view. Only problem was we could hear the flaps on the life / tender boats flapping & banging after a tender,( they did not secure them well enough).
