  1. The Sapphire Princess 19 year old running gag in all elevators.
  2. I tried it once. It had too much fat and was gristly. No good beef quality for a striploin tbh. The taste of the eatable rest was ok tho. The best beef on this trip was the MDR Wellington. I liked it more than the Mignon at Sterlings.
  3. ☝️ Sapphire Princess had the first Alaska sailing of this season (April 29). Fettuccine Alfredo and New York Strip Steak were always available.
  4. It's the standard outside platform on deck 4, just like entering a tender boat.
  5. The Sapphire today in Juneau. Still can't belief how fabulous the weather was last week. 🌞
  6. It is Temsco. I did it just one week ago. The seating is 1st row: Pilot-Pax-Pax 2nd row: Pax-Pax-Pax Front right is the best seat, but the company decides seating upon weight and balance.
  7. Disembarkation went very smooth. No lines at customs (Express Walk-off Group B at 08:00). Even though there were 3 ships disembarking today. Took me 5 minutes from ship to taxi.
  8. At least we will do the Vancouver Island Inside Passage on our return journey as the captain said. And with a nice weather forecast. No more chances of northern lights tho.
  9. Sitka Sound. What a nice Archipelago. And with us came the good weather said the locals (again). Princess should stop here more often. It's an unusual stop for Princess ships. The 7 day Voyage of the Glaciers never stops here. I like this place.
  10. Same here. If this party is divided into 2 or more events - just don't go anyway. Too many Gold + Elites
  11. Margerie Glacier and Mount Fairweather, Glacier Bay National Park

  14. Yes!! This was just confirmed by the Restaurant Chef of Vivaldi Dining Room. The change was done during drydock in Portland. So much better now.

  16. I am totally surprised how good Medallion Net works on this ship. Pretty fast and reliable. Even here, far up north.
  17. I really enjoyed it. Soup with potatoes and bacon. And green onions on top, which perfectly fit to the dish. Just nice after that cold day.
