  1. So you haven't been on a Princess ship so far. You must be kiddin.
  2. You can't even bring an apple into the US from Europe. CBP officers will eat it. lol, no joke.
  3. Yes, of course. Wow, why do you prefer the older Grand and Caribbean? I love the Coral, it was my 1st Princess cruise. First, I thought so, too. But Royal class is amazing. These ships also never feel crowded. The best Royal Class ship is the Regal imho. And I prefer the Sapphire and Emerald as the best Grand/Gem class ships.
  4. The Island, Grand, and Caribbean are the ships that I would most likely not book in the fleet. And the Sun. lol.
  5. The prefab omelettes on the Sapphire look like this: Not comparable to a fresh made Omelette, but they seem to be better than on the Ruby.
  6. Tbh, Princess went over the top with this by far. And they stole the once open to everyone 18+ Retreat Pool (known as Lotus Spa Pool on older ships) now to paid guests only.
  7. Yes. On Australia and New Zealand cruises it's Carlton Zero for example. Yes, they usually do. Red and White.
  8. Is that a Princess ShorEx or independent? I would like to know what tour that might be. Is it the Golden Circle? It's long, yes.
  9. It only went well because the ships then were at 30 to 50% of the passenger capacity.
  10. Who is "they"? "Passengers travelling to Iceland from EEA countries are allowed to bring food products of animal origin for personal consumption". But - the United Kingdom left the EEA when it left the EU in January 2020. So if the ship is coming from Southampton you need to follow this:
  11. You probably need this:
  12. - Paying 3000+ pounds for a cruise. - Not enough money left to buy food ashore. - Priceless.
  13. If you keep the door & curtains closed and put the a/c to max, your cabin won't be hot. They don't have extra fans. Only the big ones, to dry out your cabin once you flooded the toilet. 😄
  14. Well, I just responded to the New Zealand post. Forum threads are dynamic, and content is not only for the OP. And the thread title is "Request for a Cruise Meal Box for Excursions".
  15. If you travel to the EU from a non-EU country, you are not allowed to bring any meat or dairy products with you. You can however bring a limited quantity of fruit and vegetables as well as eggs, egg products and honey. https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/carry/meat-dairy-animal/index_en.htm Mars and Snickers? Ok. Salami sandwich? No.
  16. Australia: https://www.abf.gov.au/entering-and-leaving-australia/can-you-bring-it-in/categories/food New Zealand: https://www.mpi.govt.nz/bring-send-to-nz/bringing-and-posting-items-to-nz/how-to-declare-items-when-arriving-in-nz/
  17. I would strongly recommend a fixed-wing flight, they are much less expensive than helicopter flights. https://www.wingsoverkauai.com/ Wings Over Kauai Air Tours is located at Lihue Airport. Easy to get there from the ship.
  18. With 100% certainty there is Coke Zero on the Royal Princess. 😄
  19. Same in Oz, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji by the way.
  20. One I saw some religious stuff on a door. And I really don't want to see that on a cruise ship.
  21. Yes, but only if you drink 4 of those premiums daily on the entire cruise. 😉
  22. In this case with alibi I ment a petty excuse.
