  1. I believe the only coffee that is excluded are those with alcohol added.
  2. They probably are offering a group rate. I have received similar discounts in the past with a group rate.
  3. We generally upgrade to Aqua to be able to dine in Blu. Have never tried Concierge, since small perks offered do not appear to be worth the cost.
  4. Pre-Covid, I saw many folks onboard who were sick with colds/flu. The cruise lines did not disallow boarding or make them quarantine. As soon as they stop requiring pre boarding tests, things will be back to how they used to be.
  5. Our first Celebrity cruise was on the Century, way back in the pre-RCL days.
  6. So is Aqua always having AI new? I was checking pricing about two weeks ago, and Aqua still offered cruise only rates. I checked today, and it was AI only.
  7. No penalty, unless you upgrade. If you upgrade, the upgrade fee is subject to the usual penalty percentages.
  8. What is the current process for opening a blue chip account? I signed up many years ago, and now my wife wants to sign up, but we cannot figure out how to do so.
  9. The taxes/fees are fully refundable at any time. On my booking confirmation, it shows that my current cancellation penalty would be $35, which is 25% of the $140 cruise fare, which is the amount I paid to upgrade to Aqua Class. The percentage of the penalty will increase as I get closer to the cruise, but it will be based only on the upgrade charge, not the taxes/fees.
  10. There are lots of adds and talks, but they are easy to ignore.
  11. I was allowed to pick the room I wanted, in the same category they offered.
  12. Does anybody know how cancellation fees work on a complimentary cruise? We also received the email, and made a reservation for an Aqua class room for a $70 per person fee. After being on hold for 2 hours, I was about to give my credit card number to pay for the room, but we got cut off. I am on hold again right now. Before we got cut off, when I asked about cancellation fees, the representative told me to never cancel a comp cruise, but to just move it. He also said that only the $140 upgrade fee would be subject to a cancellation fee, since the rest of the fare is taxes/fees. I am trying to confirm if this is accurate.
  13. Exactly. I spend many hours a day eating and drinking outside my cabin while cruising. I suspect many folks are getting infected in the crowded restaurants/bars, even if they wear masks at other times.
  14. We have also had to turn over our passports to Celebrity on many different cruises. It was mandatory, not optional.
