This Oasis cabin in a picture from a passenger looks like it may be a Category Q as well. It doesn't look like the 172 sq ft interior layout. What do you think?:

What is the 172 sq ft layout then?

They offer free coffee, tea and water. I think they have free iced tea but don't quote me on that. They have free cookies, small desserts, pizza and mini mini croissant sandwiches. The sandwiches vary and sometimes they are egg salad, tuna salad, ham and cheese, cheese and turkey, etc. You get the picture. There is also the Seattle Best counter where they sell mochas, cappuchinos, lates, etc. and the Ben and Jerry counter where you can buy ice cream delights. Also there is a soda counter where you can buy soda or if you have the soda card get a soda or refill there.
Bingo.

38 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED!

Many of your arguments are biased, and subject to your own opinions.
DCL is expensive,But do note it includes more than other lines, Top Quality Entertainment, Depends on what you like, I understand that Disney does great shows, but Royal Caribbean's Oasis class can't be beat for variety. Top quality food again, subjective, Free Soda, (worth a lot against RCCL soda packages) the soda packages are only $4 per day for kids, that's hardly a vacation ruiner, Can bring booze on board, can't argue that one. The characters Royal ships have dreamworks, although not as prevalent, only ship to have fireworks on it that is pretty cool, Castaway Cay, pretty much every other cruise line has a private island, and I see nothing "special" about this one.
My post is also subjective, but just shows how some people can't justify the extra cost to sail Disney. Oh and I could also mention the HORRENDOUS itinerary that Disney has on the Dream. I mean really, a 5 Night cruise that goes to their own destination TWICE!!??? Talk about stealing your money... And also, traveling off-peak doesn't exactly work for families either, so they are forced to pay the sky high rates.
Just my opinion.

47 more days till ALLURE!!!!!!! :D
-
Wow. I would love to be in there, but I never will be.
-
14 days. I'll get to see the Navigator depart two more times... Them I'm on her! :D
-
It also depends on what time and place you are looking for. Some cruises could be really cheap.
-
YAY! Finally figured out how to do this right!
-
Yes. I would think that the Allure topics would be placed under the Allure boards. I don't really understand that point of having a separate forum just for the Allure, but that's not up to me.

Those are excellent pictures! Thanks for posting.

You are in a great location! Right near the elevators and right near Central Park. Great central location. Have a great cruise!

I haven't been in one of these cabins, but what I would assume is that instead of a straight edge on the balcony, it is slanted. I would also assume that the balcony is bigger as it is on the curve. The only downside I can see is that you will only be able to look straight down one side of the ship, but I don't think that's too much of an issue!

Don't have any pictures but check out this site I ran across cruiselinerooms com
Love that website!

We have sailed on Carnival previously, but are now booked on the Oasis in a Boarldwalk balcony cabin on deck 14. This will be the first time we have ever had an interior balcony cabin, but I am hoping that we will still have a nice view of the aqua theatre and of the wake off the aft of the ship. Our cabin is only about ten back from the aft end of the ship, but after looking at pictures of this ship I am concerned that deck 14 will be level with the section of the ship that goes all the way across the the back of the ship joining the two sides possibly spoiling our hopes of an ocean view. Does anyone out there have any input or suggestions if deck 14 is too high to see much of anything or not?
You may want to go down a deck or two. However, if you are concerned about being able to see the water, then you should consider getting the regular oceanview balcony cabins.

So helpful!!!!!!! :D

I found a topic with a picture of an F category cabin (7108). Take a look at the picture, you can get an idea of how the forward wall slopes.
Thanks! Wow, that stateroom looks HUGE!
-
I haven't stayed in one but I did have the opportunity to go in one on Oasis when our group did a cabin crawl.
Because the wall with the windows at the front of the ship had a slope, it actually made the room feel much larger than the OV room we had toured on the side of the ship.
Are these rooms actually any larger than the other staterooms? How is the view out the window? The window itself is sloped, so does this affect the view at all?
-
Which ship were you on? Did the room have a sloped wall where the window was?

I am looking into a cruise on the Allure in June. The cheapest option is a category F cabin.
This cabin is oceanview, but has a window facing forward, towards the bow. Does anyone have any information or pictures about these cabins? I am wondering what they will be like because of the slope of the front of the ship.
