I saw a lady on Tik Tok who was onboard saying that the captain made an announcement that they would no longer be going through the canal and instead will be going round South Africa.

Was this BS? I literally cannot find anything else about it!

It means you are currently confirmed for Celebrity Select dining - and on a waitlist for 6pm sitting

If the waitlist gets cleared before you go, it will then just say 6pm

There was an Abraham Hicks group on my Reflection cruise this July - I noticed a few of them as they wore lanyards. Didn't affect my cruise experience at all - and they seem to very smiley, polite and positive people.

Others have posted that the Europe Itineraries will be released on Thursday 

I have honestly never even noticed any pens or pencils in the rooms 🤣

I was also just on Reflection and the ship was in port until 10pm. With 5 ships in port I thought there is no way I am getting off in the morning. So we got off at 1pm - no queue at cable car at all! (but once we got to the top there was a huge queue waiting to go back down at this time.) We took a bus to Oia, and spent some time there. It was about 7pm when we got back to Fira for the cable car back down and again no queue. 

So well worth it if you can avoid peak times!

 Reflection has been moved to 23rd December this year  - might be why the timeline disappeared as a few dates have changed already

I just got off Solstice last week (Mexican riviera)

yes she is not looking as shiny as the edge series but she is in really good shape, you can tell she is well looked after.

service and food is as fabulous as ever. Deck furniture looked fine to me. I had the best cruise 

It is literally luck of the drawer - so it is whatever room they have available to upgrade you to.

Millennium and Summit are NOT receiving Le Petit Chef and are remaining as Qsine

All other ships are expected to receive Le Petit Chef

I am glad to read this - I am sailing on Ovation next weekend - travelling from UK so no way I am taking formal gear!

They Cancelled plans for  Le Petit Chef on Millennium and Summit - not sure why. All other ships are expected to move to Le Petit Chef.

Thank you for taking the team to post your review! I will be on Ovation for the 8th March sailing and I'm very excited! Your review has helped answer a lot of questions I had. I am sad to hear the Kung Fu Panda noodle shop has gone as that menu was right up my street! Would not bother with a fish and chip shop and I agree this sounds like a wasted opportunity.

I agree. I think once per cruise is just fine as it is nice to celebrate the dining team but by the time the third announcement happens during a cruise we sit there like... really!!?

You do get Military discount in the UK as well as Blue Light discount

Military discount is a contentious point on Celebrity ships. It only applies to USA and Canadian Armed Forces yet the cruise line operates all around the world. It is in my view because it is so narrow very discrimatory. Princess on the other hand do give military OBC to a far wider section of the International ex military. I have raised the issue with Celebrity and asked why and how it was arrived at and as usual got discounts in one area are not necessary available in another. Pretty poor show

With Edge and the whole fleet being "revolutionized" - the prices are only gonna keep going up

We can only speculate for now but it seems as follows:

-Solstice Deck sundeck to be replaced by Retreat sundeck

-Conference Center and half of Sky Lounge to be replaced by Signature and Reflection Suites (already done on Reflection).

 

The above seem pretty definite. Below are my additional speculations:

-Kid and Teen Area replaced by Retreat Lounge

-Basketball court replaced by Retreat pool area

 

And this is a big maybe:

-Other half of Sky Lounge replaced by Luminae?

 

Luminae was mentioned for getting upgrades but nothing said about it moving and no renderings of a new space so this might not happen, again just my speculation on what would make the most sense for creating a total Suites only space to match what’s on Edge.

 

If the above happens then spaces will open up like the current Michael’s Club and Luminae for new venues that would be open to everyone which is a plus.

Currently, it is scheduled for Qsine to change to "Le Petit Chef at Qsine" in September of this year for Celebrity Silhouette

I believe this chat is only available on the UK site at the moment

Celebrity have just released a new app which currently only works on 3 ships. Eventually they will roll out accross the fleet and add the option to do the chat.

The app will work by connecting to ship's wi fi - but wi fi package purchase is not required to use the Celebrity app on board. ( You will of course need a package for internet browsing and facebook and other social media)

The app should be in full swing come Edge launch.
