What are people in Sky Suites on Edge seeing as minimum bids?
On my sailing (just over a week away) prices haven't budged since they first came out. There is a Villa open and would love to upgrade, but $2,250 per/person is the minimum bid. Was hoping it would drop a bid as the cruise approached, but no luck. Am running out of time; would love to sail in the Villa but just don't think I want to bite the bullet and shell out $4,500 more (if the bid were to be accepted).
The other prices are $1,000 minimum per/person for Celebrity Suite, $1,500 for Royal Suite, $4,000 for Penthouse and $5,000 for Iconic (all these categories though are showing sold out, so the Villa is my only realistic chance).
Am curious if other sailings are showing different minimum bids for Edge and also if anyone has seen the minimum bids change (up or down) over time.
We sail on 4/21 (SS2) and minimums are exactly the same. Our sailing indicates all suites are sold out.

Didn't think to click on the photo (on my phone) - but doing so still only indicates pg 1 of 1 & no scroll. Hopefully works for OP -I'm able to scroll down and see photos of coupons for all the levels. Thanks, Bob! Should have known the answer is there (somewhere)!

We're actually debating if we should just carry all our bags off. We don't have that many bags....is there a huge line at the YC baggage area?
Both times for us we left YC around 8:00 or so and it was about 35 to 40 minutes to being in our car in the parking garage. Pretty smooth getting to the bags, but then some waiting in line for customs.

-I know that you are not visiting St. Thomas, but maybe your concierge can tell you where Seaside usually docks. Either in Havensight or at Crown Bay?
In January we were at Havensight and I'm pretty sure that's where they dock most, if not all of the time.

When I was watching John's scopes from May, they were included for the two Royal suites. Perhaps someone else can add to this.

Correct - included for the two RS. The $99 & $59 rates are "newer" by the way . . . when we were on back in January, they were $149 and $99.

Ok...so I have come to a conclusion about the shows on MSC Seaside. While they don't excel in set design, choreography, or grand gestures, the one thing they do excel in over RC or even DCL is their vocals.
Tonight's show featured a variety of songs and was heavy on the vocals. It was beautiful to listen to. There was not one weak voice. I think back to RCI shows on Oasis class ships, Mama Mia, Grease, etc., and while the shows were great, the vocals were on the weak side. The only exception was We Will Rock You on Anthem. The vocalists have impressed us since night one with their talents.
Spot on with this, Sabrina . . . and we'll extend the props all around on the production shows - and if I may say, are they not some stunningly good looking and extremely talented people?
We enjoyed the shows immensely more for sheer entertainment value over any type of structured theme or story line. Hope you get to see the Michael Jackson show - so good!!!

Is there someone making fresh omeletes for breakfast by the pool--there was last year on Divina!
Yes - whatever the breakfast hours are, there is someone there to make eggs & omelets to order if you wish.

I get that the alcohol and beer is included everywhere including the yacht club but what do the stars next to some of the beers mean ?
As I recall, Classic package gets the basic offerings, single star items are included only with the Deluxe drinks package, two stars (ultra premium) not included in any package.

Going to reply to my own quote. Same 8 of 10 OS still remaining - for the last 2 month ls price was $2,500 pp. Now (with same 8 cabins available) price is $2,818 pp.We're on Oasis in a couple of months - GS have been gone for a long time. Around $1700/$1800 pp. Currently only 2 of 10 OS booked, but for the 8 remaining (inside final payment) they're $800 more pp. [emoji33]Price difference is just too much to make sense. GS is fine, thank you very much!

Personally wouldn't be attractive to us for that much more. Having said that - if it's in you budget and you'd enjoy it, why not.Pardon to hijack this thread but we are in a GS on HOTS in September and I keep wondering if it is worth an extra $2000 to move up to an OS. We have been in a GS before and are content with that but have never tried an OS.Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

We didn't open the sofa bed (assuming there's an option), but here's our video of the cabin from 3 weeks ago . . .
Hope this helps -

This is so easy...THE YACHT CLUB! A two bedroom suite is just a big cabin with none of the YC benefits. The extra space in the YC more than makes up for the lesser space in the cabin.
Plus one to YC for this and many other reasons . . .

Done both and would going forward choose 16 . . . but it's kind of like - you're not going to be disappointed either way!!!

Ah! So sorry!!!Sorry, I meant the telephone on the desk.
No idea on the phone. Didn't look at it once as no messages and we had internet.
Hopefully others may be able to offer answers -

Not sure about prebooking times or prices - but we just got off Seaside yesterday (5/12/2018) and this was in our paperwork if it helps regarding the laundry.
These were onboard costs and typically prices are less if prebooked.

We're on this cruise also and on the cruise planner, you can purchase a bottle of house sparkling wine for $17 or there are several other higher priced options with Prosecco, Asti, and other items included. Others may know for sure, but I'd guess these will be in your cabin when you arrive.
