I would use the Halifax Clarity Card as they don't charge any currency conversion fees.

Is there an up-to-date list of the current prices of drinks on Princess? The OP has stated that the spreadsheet does not include the current prices and I have searched the forum but not come up with anything that is "current".
I understand that there was a price increase shortly after the AIBP was changed and increased in price but have not managed to find out by how much the individual drinks prices changed.
-
No, that is the grand total. The cost is $31 + 15% = $35.65.
Ah, great thanks. In that case it will (currently) be cheaper for me to buy it on board as the conversion rate they are using fro my GBP based account is pretty poor (even by GBP standards!).
Its only a few bucks - but they are my bucks!

Yes. I spike the mocktails with some rum I bought off of Princess Cellars.
Was considering doing the same sort of thing!
Can you tell me what the $ price is (including service charge) for a half bottle of rum on board please? My account is in GBP and the Princess currency conversion rate does not appear to be very generous. Just wondering whether it will be worth waiting until I get on board to buy the stuff.
Thanks for the info.

Just had a quick look at the spreadsheet and I believe the prices are a little low for the booze. The prices were increased last Sept./Oct...
Cheers

Interesting. Has anyone seen an up-to-date drinks menu?
Thanks

We will be taking the powder sachets for our daughter when we go on the Sapphire in May.
Seemed to make sense to us.

As far as I can tell, the current cost of a coffee card is $35.65. Is there a service charge on top of that?
-
Am I correct in thinking that "mocktails" are included in the soda package?
-
Easily.
and now instructs bar staff not to hand out unopened beers.
Does that include if you buy the "5 beers for the price of 4" deals? I've pre-ordered 2 of these for our cruise and I don't want to turn up to find 10 opened beers sitting in my cabin!
-
Thanks Dides. I did find that site and see that the dates don't go out far enough yet. I think I'll just have to book with a company that doesn't require you to specify a terminal.
-
We are sailing on the Sapphire on 26th May and I'm looking at booking parking. Does anyone know which terminal Princess uses in Southampton or how I can find out which one my ship is going to use?
Thanks

Why don't you buy the card and that gives you unlimited fresh brewed teas. You could then use the punches to get your husband the cappuccinos and lattes :) Princess don't care who uses the punches. ;)
This is what we plan to do. I don't drink coffee but my wife does. I'll buy the card for the unlimited tea and she can use the punches for her coffee.

Oh well. I guess I'd best pack plenty of my own for our cruise then.

Just got quotes for our Sapphire Princess cruise next year.
Parking4Cruises = £85.99
CPS = £92
Not a lot in it between the 2 - both ridiculously expensive!

I hope this doesn't become an issue for our upcoming Sapphire cruise. We have cruised 4 times previously with different lines and, whilst I don't do it often, I have asked for 2 mains/entrees. One that I know I will like and another that my wife and I think sounds interesting and that we would like to try.
To be honest, on each occasion we had no problems eating the extra meal (they really aren't that big). Whilst it doesn't happen often, it would be a shame to not have it as an option.
I find it astonishing the number of people on this forum that think its OK to judge what other people eat or drink. None of their damned business what other people do. If you can only handle 3/4/5 drinks a day or one meal then that's your business. If someone else can drink 20 a day and eat 6 main meals then that's their business (I personally could do neither of these, but I don't criticize those that can).
Food and beverage police - Jeez.

No problem Jasbo. Your response didn't sound rude at all.
I'm sure no offence was meant and, certainly, none was taken.
-
Thanks Jasbo. Sorry that I've repeated an oft asked question.

Does anyone know when Princess are likely to release their itineraries for Summer 2019?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply Thinfool.
Of course, being a UK based cruiser we would be taking a punt on the future value of the £v$ but good to know the options anyway.
Oh, as an aside is "taking a punt" a phrase used in the US?

Good to read all the positives about the Sapphire. We are booked on her for our first Princess cruise (previously been with RCCI & NCL) and are very excited about it.
We are on the Scandinavia sailing for Whitsun half-term holidays, so I think the covered pool might be very busy!
-
Presumably you can only use the FCC as a deposit if you book direct with Princess rather than via a TA?
I guess things might be different in the US compared to the UK though.

Thanks Jim what about me?? I told everyone to go there first. :D:D Just kidding have a great cruise!!

Sorry Tony, I was thanking for an answer to a specific query.
Thank you Tony for answering OPs question.
