  1. The 37.5cl bottles of white Bacardi rum were 17 or 18$ USD iirc. I was generous with my doctoring of the mocktails and had a hard time finishing my second bottle, but then again I only had 3-4 drinks a day.

Just bring a small flask and fill it up before leaving your cabin. Please be advised though that I'm not completely sure this is legit, I'm always very discrete about it and have never gotten into any trouble.

Thanks for the info. Very helpful

  2. Is there an up-to-date list of the current prices of drinks on Princess? The OP has stated that the spreadsheet does not include the current prices and I have searched the forum but not come up with anything that is "current".

I understand that there was a price increase shortly after the AIBP was changed and increased in price but have not managed to find out by how much the individual drinks prices changed.

  3. Yes. I spike the mocktails with some rum I bought off of Princess Cellars.

Was considering doing the same sort of thing!

Can you tell me what the $ price is (including service charge) for a half bottle of rum on board please? My account is in GBP and the Princess currency conversion rate does not appear to be very generous. Just wondering whether it will be worth waiting until I get on board to buy the stuff.

    Thanks for the info.

  4. Why don't you buy the card and that gives you unlimited fresh brewed teas. You could then use the punches to get your husband the cappuccinos and lattes :) Princess don't care who uses the punches. ;)

This is what we plan to do. I don't drink coffee but my wife does. I'll buy the card for the unlimited tea and she can use the punches for her coffee.

  5. I hope this doesn't become an issue for our upcoming Sapphire cruise. We have cruised 4 times previously with different lines and, whilst I don't do it often, I have asked for 2 mains/entrees. One that I know I will like and another that my wife and I think sounds interesting and that we would like to try.

To be honest, on each occasion we had no problems eating the extra meal (they really aren't that big). Whilst it doesn't happen often, it would be a shame to not have it as an option.

I find it astonishing the number of people on this forum that think its OK to judge what other people eat or drink. None of their damned business what other people do. If you can only handle 3/4/5 drinks a day or one meal then that's your business. If someone else can drink 20 a day and eat 6 main meals then that's their business (I personally could do neither of these, but I don't criticize those that can).

Food and beverage police - Jeez.
