Is it on the menu or do you just ask them to blend it?

It was on the menu on our last RC Cruise but I haven't seen it on Carnival's drink menu so I plan to just ask them to blend it for me! There is just something so smooth about the drink when it is blended like that!

Glad you started this thread!! Nice to have a new fresh take on things from people that may not have been cruising 4,5, 10 yrs ago!! I also love hearing replys back from those that have just completed their first or second cruise!

The best kept secret I discovered on my last cruise was FROZEN MOJITOs!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! SOOOOOOOO good!!!!:D:D:D:D

Sharkeez has free wifi also, we used it last Feb. when we were there!

We are booked here for one night pre-cruise. The price was great but now I'm anxious about the hotel itself after reading mixed reviews on another travel site. We fly into Miami at 3:30 on a Saturday and will leave for the port the next morning hopefully by 10:30. Has anyone stayed here recently and can give me some feedback? We are also thinking about walking down to Tom's NFL bar & grill to eat dinner so we won't have to rent a cab or car. It doesn't look like it's that far of a walk, any feedback there as well will be appreciated!

Were they serving the new American Table menu in the MDR or was it the old menu? Sorry for all the questions, it's just nice to have someone who just got off the cruise and knows the updated info! :D

I have a feeling it was the shrimp, but I can't prove it. I was only sick for 24 hours. Then once I drank more and wasn't dehydrated anymore, I felt fine and as if it never happened. It was early Thursday morning like around 1-2AM so I missed San Juan but was well enough and got cleared to get off on Friday in Grand Turk. I was so happy as that was the only port I had never been to.

Did you guys have Your Time Dining or early/late seating? I am curious to know if those that have YTD eat in a different dining room than the early/late seatings.

After much reviewing and calculating I think the Cheers program will really save my DH and I some money! I looked back at what we spent on previous cruises and most of those we were pretty conservative about how much we drank because of the expense. Our problem was that we liked the $8-10 drinks and wine. So with the Cheers program we will be able to relax, know up front what we are spending, and enjoy ourselves without having to overindulge to "get our money's worth"!! One less thing I have keep up with!! :D

Our upcoming cruise will be the first time using YTD on Carnival. My question is, do you eat in the main dining room or a seperate dining room. We will be on Conquest and I noticed that the Renoir dining room was listed beside YTD. I love the looks of the main dining room (Monet)and hope we can eat in there!! Don't want to miss out on the festivities. The other cruises we have been on were with RC and on a small ship that only had one dining room.

Just thought I'd add that the drinks in souvenir glasses are not part of the program and should not count towards your 15.. unless you become belligerent

That's good to know!! I love getting at least one souvenir cup per cruise to use at home when I'm trying to pretend I'm still on vacation!!!

All cabin will also have a mini-fridge the is iffy on it's ability to keep things cool.

Am I reading this correctly? All cabins have mini-fridges? Even interior rooms on deck 2?

If anyone has a picture of the above specialty glasses I would love to see them!!! Can you post them here please?

Also, If I am understanding the program correctly, I can purchase the cheers program and still purchase these specialty glasses and/or pitchers of beer just paying seperatley for these? Correct? And since I paid seperatley that shouldn't count toward my 15 drink limit??

Do you have any idea how long it took to track all the information here down to help people. You people keep bashing different cruise lines taking up pages of this thread that was meant to answer questions about the cheers program. No one opens this thread to discuss smoking on balconies what other lines offer. Who has a better "value"(which by the definition is unique to everyone). Knock it off, go elsewhere and have your passing match. I'm going to report every off topic post from now on and ask moderators to suspend accounts.
