LOLooking for recs for a reasonably-priced hotel (if there is such a thing!) near the Miami port for 2 nights April 4&5, pre-cruise. For comparison, our last few cruises (pre-covid) have been out of Ft. Lauderdale & we found the hotels there, along 17th street? -HI Express, Embassy Suites..- to be adequate, clean enough & OK. Would prob. like to get something that includes "free" breakfast & "free" shuttles to port. Suggestions appreciated. Oh, is HOTWIRE still a good site to try??? ....been a while 🙂

I haven't been following prices since "the pandemic", and I guess we took our last cruise in 2019. Generally speaking, how do prices compare now vs then...? Higher? Lower?(Specifically for 7-day Caribbean cruises out of Florida....) Comments appreciated.🙂
