  1. We are going on a cruise to the Bahamas the last week of August. I am getting concerned

as I have never been on a ship during hurricane season. I read the ships do their best to

avoid the hurricane and either outrun the hurricane or stay to the peripheral of it. If someone

has been in this situation, please advise. I plan on getting a prescription for sea sickness but

I am concerned about the children with us, and rough seas.  Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can bring on shelf stable milk for your son.  You can also bring on cereal too which I would suggest you do if he is particular about what he likes because there are not many choices on the ship.

Oh that's good to see in print. Thank   you.

I agree completely.  Although you can, IMO there is no need to bring it. You can get cartons of milk and cereal to keep in your stateroom from the WJ.  And although aptly described as a "cooler", the small refrigerator is cold enough to safely store the milk for short term use.  We use it frequently to keep more adult beverages cold and it works fine.

Thank you. I am nervous about the refrigerator temperature. I don't mind carrying on

non-refrigerated milk if allowed, just for peace of mind.

You can. However, cartons of milk are available in the Windjammer so you shouldn't have to bring any. You can grab a few cartons and keep them in the "fridge" (actually a glorified cooler) in your room. I have also seen cereal in single serve bowls in the Windjammer.

Yes, I know this, but the refrigerator is never cold. In the past I have asked for ice for my soda and I got it once a day at the same time. Depending on our activity for the day, it wasn't always

frozen. We are okay to carry it on, if it is allowed. we will bring the milk you don't need to refrigerate. Thanks for the info.

I've never done this excursion ....but.... as someone who lives in Orlando and frequents the parks, I can't see how there's any value to this excursion. If you wanna do Disney (or Uni) just do a land based Florida trip. I can't see anyone getting more than 2 or 3 rides done and it just seems like a waste to me 🤷‍♂️plus you gotta ride the bus +1 hour each way to Disney ...the only way I could see this being worthwhile is if you took a bus down to Disney Springs (downtown Disney) and just did some shopping and maybe a lunch or whatever.... but even that would be a stretch in worth, to me.

Thank you. I feel the same way but her son is 4 years old and not sure what else there is to do in Port Everglades. He's young for the Space Center. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I feel the same way and will share this with my daughter. Thank you.

  7. We are going on Symphony of the Seas on August 25, 2024 and will be in Nassau, Bahamas on August 29th.

I am concerned about the hurricane season impacting our cruise but crossing my fingers that there won't be

an issue. I see we take a double-decker ferry to Blue Lagoon. How safe is the ferry? Also, is it worth

going to Blue Lagoon? We will be going with a 4 year old. Thank you for your response.
