They have 3 courts lined out where the basketball courts are. They are enclosed on the sides by glass so you don’t have as much of a wind problem like other ships. Just make sure you find the sports activity director the first day and tell them you want court time. That way they will put it on the compass everyday. People will come. Crowd gets bigger each day. Have fun!Ok, thank you for the suggestion and info. The wind could ruin the game. So glad to hear that the courts are enclosed with the clear glass. I know what to expect now.

We were on the Allure in December. They do provide paddles and balls.
However, we always pack our paddles when we cruise.
ok, thank you. Are there proper lines on the courts? Thank you in advance.

I will be on Allure February 16 and would love to play pickleball. Do I need to bring a raquet
and balls?

Thank you! This post is very informative and helpful. We will go to Verde Beach.

We will be docked in San Juan from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
in February 2020. We would like to go to a beach that has calm
water and umbrella and chair rentals. I know Escambron is closer to the port but I am unsure if it has rough
water. Also, how much would a taxi cost to each beach? Are there taxis available if we leave the beach
by 11:30 a.m.to return to the port or where can we find a taxi? If there is another beach that is highly
recommended, I am open to suggestions.

Thanks! We ordered a case of water prior to our cruise.

I believe you can go to your cabin at 1pm. So, you could probably take an Uber or Lyft.

Does anyone know how far it is to Molde and when they could possibly arrive?
It is 32 miles and I heard they will start towing the ship to Molde at 6:25 am Norwegian time. Go to Post Number 239
for live coverage of the rescue efforts. It is on AgendaFree on Post 239.

Thank you. I checked with the port and got the same answer.

Is there a small shop in the Port of Miami where I can buy bottles of water
and soda before boarding?

We just did this excursion on Christmas Day 2017. It is pricey but we felt it was a good way to see Nevis. I did not want to risk "missing the ship" which is why I booked through ship. We had a nice water taxi ride over, quick bathroom stop when got to Nevis, then onto cab/van toured a few spots - most beautiful Montpelier Resort then onto Pinneys Beach - greeted with rum punch at beachside grill (lunch included was good grilled grouper or jerk chicken with rice, very tasty). Right on beach with chair and umbrella provided. We relaxed and took short walk up beach to right to check out Four Seasons. Had a few hours on beach and then back via provided cab to water taxi.
Very nice day and poked through St Kitts shopping before back onto cruise ship.
I did not feel we missed St Kitts but can't really do both given time frame so have to choose.
We liked the Nevis lunch. I also heard the Fan-ta-sea Catamaran excursion is fun but my crew did not want to snorkel which is why I went with the plantation/lunch/beach one.
Have fun!

This sounds really wonderful! Since my family decided to go on the ATV tour instead, I will keep this idea on the back burner
for the next time we are in St. Kitts. Thanks so much for the review.

We are looking into the ship's excursion: Luxe Power Cat to Secluded Congo Cay in St. Thomas. It looks nice and Congo Cay seems to be a bit more secluded than other snorkeling sites. Is this the case? Also, how is the "luxe power cat"? How is the snorkeling in Congo Cay since
the hurricane? Thank you for your ideas.

We did this excursion early in 2017 and enjoyed it very much. We had a beautiful day. We were taken to various places of interest on the island before going to lunch & the beach. The catamaran ride was so much fun!
However, just the next cruise - (we were doing a b2b) this excursion was cancelled because the ocean was too rough, even though it was a nice sunny day. We were very glad that we had gone on the first opportunity!
Thank you!

Thank you for the full review! It sounds really nice to me, but... as it turns out, my other two family members opted to go on the ATV ship excursion. So, reluctantly and a little nervous about this, I am tagging along:o. Maybe next time I will make it to Nevis with the ship's excursion.

If you mean the catamaran trip to Nevis we did it 2 years ago and had a fantastic time and beach we stopped at was beautiful. Highly recommend it.

We have a day stop in St. Kitts. We are considering staying in St. Kitts for a beach day or going on the Royal Caribbean
excursion to Nevis( A Day Trip to Nevis with Lunch). I have been considering this excursion for quite some
time but hesitate because of the price. If you have taken this excursion, please
let me know your thoughts. It looks like we will have some beach time with
this also, which pleases my family. Thank you in advance for your response.

Yes, there are, but many boats were damaged during the storms. Many boats that are available for snorkeling excursions are posting on What's Going On St Thomas facebook page.
Thank you, I will check it out.

When we cruise, we like to find our own excursions. Just wondering... are there
any catamaran snorkel excursions available on St. Thomas besides what the cruise
ships have to offer? Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thank you.

^ that's a great deal for the transfer - no way you'll get a taxi cheaper than that.
Thanks Biker19, I needed to know this to make a decision on an excursion.

We are taking an excursion leaving from Jan Thiel-Pirate's Nest . The company charges
$9 USD per person- round trip from the port for a transfer. I was thinking a taxi might not be as expensive. Does anyone know if it is cheaper to take a taxi? Also, are there taxis available at the port and at Pirate's Nest? Thank you.

I just found out that Anthem of the Seas is docking at Terminal 6 in Port Canaveral, Florida on the cruise I am going on! Does anyone know how far this is from the Exploration Tower, stores and restaurants? Also, where can I pick up an Uber or Lyft near here, if needed? Thanks for anticipated advice.:)

Geez, sounds like a terrible experience. I would have been disappointed. Someone should be there to keep track of the players and really try to organize by experience. I will be on Allure and observe before playing if it sounds similar to this. Thanks for your info.
