  1. Things are a bit nuts here between the EX trying stupid stuff (again) but I am on track with my weight and diet. I have started walking/jogging each morning for about 30 minutes or so. It truly helps with my energy level and attitude. And of course, i am going to LifeTime Fitness most night. Tonight is SPIN and an 30 minute AB class.

  2. Hi there! I had pneni. (I can't spell either :) ) after the birth of my youngest and that is the most wicked thing. Feels like you are drowning.

     

    So glad that you are feeling better.

     

    And congrats on your next cruise, now we both have a new goal to keep in mind.

     

    Glad that we are both back! You were such an inspiration to me last time!

  3. Thanks for your post. I try to track on Spark but I often "blow" my carb count with wine.

     

    Right I am trying to pump back up my work out schedule, just burned out I guess but I am still trying.

     

    Also, my Hubbie to be now wants to book a cruise next February/March and open it up to our entire family..his parents (80's) his sister and brother in law (I will buy the alcohol package to manage her), and his other siblings and who know's.

    I think it will be fun but we are all aware of the stress...

     

    Oh well, such a problem to have.

  4. Hi everyone! I am so glad that we are keeping this board up and going despite that some of our cruises have come and gone.

     

    Trying to crank back up my workouts now I finally put away my suit cases...Kickboxing on Sunday, groan and moan on Monday and Tuesday then I did my lifting class yesterday, having trouble typing today :)

     

    I hope that everyone is doing OK...

     

    Please keep posting, you are such an inspiration to me !

  5. Hi ladies! The cruise was OK but the great news is that I only gained alittle weight....that bad news is that I am too sore to walk from my first "post vacation" workout/kick boxing class from Sunday afternoon.

     

    We made it home late Saturday night and I am planning on the big laundry/unpack moan and groan tonight.

  6. Hi Y'all!

     

    Ok, so I am almost ready, my to do list:

     

    Packed (seven pairs of shoes too much ?)

    House cleaned (thank God I work from home some days)

    Yard cut (nice weather yesterday afternoon)

    Groceries purchased (one more run for the house/kids today)

    Details for Sitter confirmed

    Directions printed

    Tickets, passports, etc. ready

    Maintenance done (hair, nails, and Brazilian :cool:)

     

    Of course, I have only been to the gym once this week and I have had wine twice this week in the evenings.

     

    Do you ever feel like you need a vacation prior to your vacation :confused:

    We leave tomorrow morning at 7 AM to start our drive.

  7. Hi y'all. Things are crazy here but I am almost packed and the house is ready for the kids and sitter.

     

    Managed to get to the gym yesterday night (skipped Monday and Sunday due to muscle and brain fatigue).

     

    Looking forward to my weight class tonight!

     

    Hope everyone is doing well, let's not let life get in the way of taking care of ourselves!

  8. Yup, we start our drive down to Lauderdale on Friday for cruisin' on Saturday.

     

    You know how it seems like it will never get here and then the week of you would welcome one more day to get everything take care of!

     

    Oh well! Had a great week last with food and fitness. Hit the gym for a double on Saturday and spent Sunday recovering and getting the house and myself ready for the big depature.

     

    Everyone, take care of yourself! I am so excited! and many thanks for sharing this with me and everyone else on our board!

     

    BTW, I am attaching a document that someone else shared on another board, and it's truly helped. I realized last night that I hadn't packed a swimsuit!

  9. Dear Joly...

    PMS is a bitch. I still chuckle about last week's esp of Modern Family with all of the girls and the mom with PMS as the same time.

     

    And see, cause we are now all on this board, we are almost on the same cycle :) actually my happy PMS time was last week and I managed not to gain any weight (normally it's my excuse to eat a small jumbo size bag of Kettle chips with non fat frozen yogurt on the side with WINE to wask down the Midol)...tell yourself 35 days and go try on an outfit for your cruise. YOU CAN DO THIS!

     

    I am down another pound today, did very well at Mexican dinner with the kids last night...

     

    Now Off to GYM!!!
