  1. I am assuming you can also book this on board, as we want to use OBC.
  2. Looking forward to seeing you dinner pictures- we are eating there in June
  3. I believe in 2019 it was in front on the train station
  4. Can’t wait to read more. We spend a few weeks each fall in Northern Michigan. We love sleeping bear dunes and Glen Arbor.
  5. If possible we would like to book the 28 or 29 day transpacific and Japan circle cruise for the end of September/ first of October 2026 when we are on board this June. If not yet available- we will buy future cruise credits while on board.
  6. If you take the 5pm fight, it may be possible to take a HAL Amsterdam excursion that drops you off at the airport later. You could also take the train into Amsterdam from the airport- it is very simple. There is also a place near the Amsterdam central station to have luggage held
  7. Flight ease only allows for flights noon or later, so even if you are not using flight ease, I would avoid the 10:30 flight.
  8. @chisoxfan Please come join our roll call for this cruise... There is a group spreadsheet where people are sharing what they are doing in each port.
  9. We love Villefranche; it is a beautiful small village with ruins to explore, as well as nice seaside restaurants with wonderful seafood. We spent a month in Nice and one day we walked there from Nice (it was a long hike). We also did the hike around Saint Jean-Cap Ferrat, which was outstanding. It is definitely worth getting off the ship.
  10. So funny- I don’t think I would ever order a Jamaican Beef Patty, but definitely would order an empanada.
  11. We have also eaten at the Matarkjallarinn-Foodceller which was very good. More expensive than Messinn. We liked Messin better and returned there on our second trip to Reykjavik.
  12. We loved Messin. The artic char was fantastic.
  13. And the problem of the day. It doesn’t show my bookings or my history. I tried clearing cookies for the site, but still nothing
  14. Same for me. No history and no cruises
  15. Also, is there any other way to get to the log on page other than going through manage my cruise. The link that used to be on the top right to log in is missing on my screen
  16. Me too and there are 3 of us in the cabin- interesting!!!
  17. Just announced by HAL https://profcruise.com/holland-america-new-cakes/amp/
  18. If you would consider an apartment, the Dutch Master Apartments are fantastic and are in the area you are looking for. They also contract with a local transportation company that will pick you up at the airport for a reasonable price. The downside to the Dutch Master Apartments is that there is no elevator, but they do have 2 first floor units. We stayed there last year and loved it. Book early, as they do sell out.
  19. I booked an international flight using FE for next summer. Business Class going and Premium Economy for the return. The FE price was over $1000 pp cheaper than booking directly with the airlines.
  20. I sent my email on Friday and today - Monday US Labor Day) I received confirmation that the credit was added to our booking.
  21. I just submitted mine for an upcoming cruise and noticed something I had never seen before on the shareholder benefit explanation form --- For credit for cruises through July 31, 2024, reservations must be made by February 28, 2024 to get the shareholder credit. Maybe that 4 month restriction has always been there and I just never noticed it.
  22. Will we be charged for an extra appetizer (the bacon) if we only only order 1 dessert to share. We typically share the baked Alaska, as it is too big for eat individually.
  23. In Europe, trains between international cities (and some in-country cities) go up in price the closer you get to the travel date, so you should book early if possible. I like using trainline. It is easy to use and provides updates to changes in schedules and cancelations. We had an hour delay on one train, and it helped with a partial refund we were entitled to due to the delay. If using Amsterdam as a base for a week, we really like staying at the Dutch Master Apartments. It is very easy to do day trips from Amsterdam, either through day tours, or on your own using the trains. Consider doing a day trip (we used get your guide) to Giethoorn. It is beautiful and too far away for a day trip on a cruise and not very easy to get to using public transportation. Many tours combine it with a stop at Zaanse Schans. Also, the same big box store you used in the past may have a package deal for the week (with transportation and excursions).
