We were faster to the fun and left our bags with the guys at the curb around 8:30. We were anxious cruisers! Everyone kept saying how early we were. After we dropped the bags off we drove to the parking garage to park.

We prepay gratuity as well.

We tipped when room service was delivered. We did not tip extra for booze. We left our room steward a $20 bill on disembarkation day...we wish to have been able to tip him more. Oh we also tipped the luggage porter at the New Orleans port when we arrived.

I used the patch , no horrible side effects just really drowsy but it did its job. I ended up sleeping a lot. I took the patch off on day 3 and started taking Dramamine non drowsy.

We decide together, book together and after that we do not do a single thing other than pack and impatiently wait until cruise day. If we choose to do an excursion we will go back online together and choose about 4 and narrow it down to one by embarkation day, purchase on ship. I refuse to stress before or during vacation.

It's good they are being cautious. Having lived on the gulf coast my entire life, depressions, T.S's and hurricanes have a mind of their own and can speed up, slow down, do a circle and turn at the drop of a dime.

Tallahassee starts eastern for Florida. Anything before Tally is Central on over to SOME parts of Texas, if not all. I always go into airplane mode and manually set to ship time.

I did not nap on my last cruise, i felt like I hadn't been on vacation when we disembarked. Since we have a balcony this time around I can actually spend time in the room vs porthole and having to leave the room just to step outside.
