  1. We got Fttf 2weeks before sail. I hear it's great. A couple things opened up for us after purchasing Fttf, like:

-We are able to check in at 10a vs 10:30-11:00. Prior to booking Fttf, the 10a check in wasn't available at all. We want to check in and embark as soon as possible because we have paid for a 4 day cruise, not a 3.5 day cruise.

-We had late dining @8:15 since it was the only thing available and everything else was wait listed, but after booking Fttf, YTD became available along with the other two dining spots so we switched to YTD, which is what we initially wanted.

We are anxious to find out if the room is truly ready when we embark w/luggage in the room.

We still have a longgggggg time till we even come close to plat or diamond so Fttf will be purchased from here on out.

  2. You get on this boat, go into preterm labor, sorry to be blunt but the Outcome will most than likely not be good. The ship is not equipped to cover a birth of a premature baby. Stop trying to lie and figure out ways to beat the system and if you have a doctor who is willing to lie for you, I hope he/she loses his license. Stay home and continue preparing for baby. Cruise later.

  3. All about proving your legal presence. I work at a DMV. A cert of birth abroad will be needed...we can't even issue a DL anymore without a primary document approved by the federal government, all due to the Real ID act. And I'm assuming Carnival must have proof of legal presence as well. I hope all works in your favor.

  4. Im too much of a worry wart to arrive the day of. I need at least a day or two buffer. But I do understand some people do not have the opportunity to get extra time off of work or the additional funds for a 1 or 2 nights stay at a hotel.

  5. I found this on my boarding pass I just printed out:

    "Identification Requirements:

U.S. security procedures require all guests 16 years of age and older to present a government issued photo identification upon

airport and cruise line check-in. All guests must present proof of citizenship and any necessary visas at embarkation (visit us @ http://www.carnival.com

    for more

information on acceptable WHTI travel documentation).

Guests without proper documentation will be denied boarding and no refund will be given."
