  1. Your photo review was Absolutely Outstanding with all sorts of great details.

Did you get a pic of the hallway with the door open...just wondering how much of the hallway it used...also did the door stay open or did you have to hold it open...could the door be opened rapidly or did it only open slowly?

I'm guessing the reason for the interior hallways was to not have doors on both sides of the hallways open...Looking at the deck plans on your deck 11, I noticed that there were 2 interior cabin hallways, rather than just one like yours, toward the bow with the cabins length going fore to aft.

Glad I found your review post, and began looking for more based on your signature info. :):):):)

  2. Nope - didn't pay extra to visit the Cucina on the Breeze. When we were either on the Dream or Valor, the upstairs used to be a pasta bar. The pasta was always either undercooked or overcooked and soggy. None of the sauces were good either. Perhaps I am confusing the Conquest and Dream class ships?

Yes, Conquest class has always had the Fish N Chips as far as I know...and the Valor for certain. It must have been the Dream that "The pasta was always either undercooked or overcooked and soggy." That explains why you called it nasty. We were fortunate on the Breeze as the lunchtime pasta was al Dente or better (even slightly less cooked) and very tasty, as I would have not accepted it, otherwise, because overcooked pasta doesn't taste good to me, and is not worth the calories. :):):):)

  3. Thanks for your nice photo review. The Fish N Chips has been on the Valor since it was built, so it wasn't replaced by the nasty pasta bar, which is on the last cruise ships Carnival's built, Breeze and Magic, so I'm guessing you experienced the nasty pasta bar, Cucina del Capitano on the Breeze. Why did you think it was nasty? :):):):)
