  1. Zydecocruiser, Thanks for another fantastic photo review...what else would it be...all of your photo reviews are fantastic. :):):):)

Thanks for the Galatoire's Bistro in Baton Rouge information...I didn't know there was one outside of New Orleans...when you say some similarity...? New Orleans one makes you wear a Jacket, right.

  2. I've looked at all your past cruise photo review posts...maybe a week or two ago...the photos are good in each review...but I can see a definite progression...your photo skills are now at an incredible level...it is such a pleasure to look at them. You seem to be as good or in many cases better than professional photographers...assuming you didn't go professional, already...thanks again for the outstanding experience provided by this review.

  3. Aruba continued:

We made our way to the Natural Bridge. I was really impressed with the beauty of this coastline. It was like none I had ever seen. There was a little store her for souvenirs and drinks. My son needed to use the restroom, but had to come back out and go to the jeep to get money – yep, you have to pay to use the toilet!

What appears to be some sort of tradition: stacking rocks. I forgot to ask our tour guide why. Stacks were all over the place, so each of us decided to add our own to the landscape.

When we were on our 4x4 excursion in Aruba and I saw the rocks stacked up for what looked like miles taking up most of the beach from the waves back as well, it was an incredible sight. I thought it might be some sort of religious practice, but when I asked the guide, he said it was for luck.

  4. Curacao Continued – Porto Marie

After snorkeling we played around in the sand and found tens of tiny hermit crabs. This occupied by daughter for nearly ½ hour. She wanted so badly to bring a crab back with us, but we managed to spare all the little cute critters.

After we released the crabs, the sun was beginning to go down and we packed up our gear and enjoyed the serene view. We had pre-arranged to have have our taxi driver pick us up at dusk.

    To be continued…

Had to mention that tiny crab in your hand Photo...The first one in this group with the kids and the bird on the right...it's hard to come up with adjectives adequate to describe your photos. CC software said I had 7 images?... so I had to remove one to complete this post...tough choice. :)

  5. Thanks for the info about the stairs...they don't show on Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Breeze Deck Plans.

How did the stairs seem random? Were they going from Deck 9 or 11? :)

I would mention Cruise Critic Carnival Breeze Deck Plans, but they don't seem to have any for the Carnival Breeze (even though all the other deck plans have been out since before Carnival Breeze started cruising)...wonder why?

Cruise Critic has a link from one of their their Carnival Breeze Cabin Reviews pages saying Back to Carnival Breeze Deck Plans...which fails.

Cruise Critic even picked Carnival Breeze as Best New Ship.

  6. For never did a "review"...all over the place., this probably was one of the best reviews I've ever read...and I certainly did not find it to be "all over the place". The review covered a lot of info with the number of words you used. Thanks for the photos of that unique 4J Cabin. :)

I'm guessing the secret door is the one that leads to the walkway outside your window, and of course, if it can be referred to as a secret door, then the traffic would likely be very infrequent and maybe just the few who had cabins like yours. :)

I'm also guessing that there are no stairs going up or down from the walkway, and the secret door is the only way onto the walkway. :)

One last thing...besides it being the staff's last sailing and few 20's or 30's cruisers (you're 28), that the staff gravitated towards you because you are apparently friendly and attractive. :)

  7. mitsugirly, your review is absolutely outstanding...the "telling your story with your eye" is a wonderful thing since your eye seems to surpass everybody else's...your photography is truly remarkable, choices of what to photograph, framing, etc., and the color and brightness (guessing your eye is involved significantly here, also)...thank you so very much for the experience. :):):)

I forgot to mention that charming photo of your daughter turning back in the cockpit...she really is a very cute, adorable girl.

  8. Thanks for your extensive and informative photo review. :)

We had poor or at best average food in the Explorer of the Seas 2/2012, and went on the Enchantment of the Seas 10/2012, which had the new RCI MDR Dinner menu, and the food was outstanding. I was anxious to hear about the Serenade as...For Large Cruise Ships Dining is Rated Number 1 by Cruise Critic Cruiser's Choice 2012. I believe this rating came out before we went on the Enchantment of the Seas, so perhaps the new MDR menu makes that much of a difference, though it seems unlikely. I'm thinking that the Enchantment of the Seas chefs are fairly good, and on our cruise, they only had to feed a 50% full cruise ship, & our great waiters may have also had a hand in the great food, by great suggestions, and selecting the best from the huge choices of the same dish in the galley.
