There is no photo package available on our cruise, besides the $40 boarding photo. I'm curious if they will be coming up with something.
Same here on our cruise in July 2019. I've been checking it to see if something is added. Hoping that there will eventually be a package added.

I agree with purchasing it at $199 for a 7 day or over cruise. We went over New Years with 2 other couples and I came back with 164 images on my drive. (good quality) We took pics of all 6 of us, just the guys (hilarius!) and just the girls. As long as either my Husband or I were in the pics we got them. I sorted through the 8X10's and kept the ones I wanted. Gave the others to the other wives to fight over, so they got some too, Made an online book with the images added to my pics and it came out great.

We are booked on an NCL cruise next year with a group that was already booked by friends. They do not allow you to bring ANY liquid beverages of any kind (except baby formula) on board period. The water package is $33.54 for 12 - 1 ltr. bottles, $53.94 for 24 - 1 ltr. bottles, and $17.94 for 6 -1 ltr. bottles. So while I am disappointed in the price increase, I'm not surprised as $6.90 was crazy cheap! I'm glad I purchased water for all of our 2019 cruises after the last time it disappeared from the personalizer!

Are you able to take photographs on the tour? If so, are there areas that are restricted? I am thinking engine room might be.

We had Club Class in December and loved it! We have an upcoming Baltic Cruise coming and will have Club Class. The price difference when we booked was $22 a day, so it was worth it to us. The first cruise was $28 a day.

I have a question regarding the photos that come on the flash drive when you buy the package. Do the copies have the port specific borders on them or are they just plain? I'm referring to the pictures that are taken as you disembark in each port. thanks! :)
Yes, they have all of the borders included. These are great, if you make books online, as I do.

We purchased it last year and have done so for our next cruise in May. We were traveling with two other couples and had fun taking pictures of the 6 of us, just the guys, just the girls, all of us getting off the ship in port....as long as either my Husband or I were in the photo, it was included in the package. I would sort through all of the hard copy pictures and kept the ones I wanted and let the other two couples divide up what was left. Then I sent them the 164 digital copies when we got home.

We were on the Star the week before dry dock in December. There were no indications that the ship was going into dry dock...except that the Crew was excited to have some time off and work some shorter days. Same food, shows and activities.

We did a ship tour in Vancouver twice. It worked very well for our flight plans. Our luggage was loaded on the bus and went with us. After the tour we were dropped off at the airport with our luggage, which we took to check in. Another alternative is to pick up a rental car for the day, tour on our own and go to the airport at our leisure. We have done this, as well.

We also rented a car and drove around Vancouver. Then drove to the airport. It worked great.

We had club class last fall on the Star and loved it, but it was only $80 more. We have it coming up on the Regal but the cabin was only $200 more when we booked it. We would not book it for $2000 or if we were traveling with others who did not book club class. But we would definitely book it at a more reasonable price.

You will be the same distance from stairs/elevators. You will be closer to the dining rooms, laundry room and just about everything else as you will not have to walk the entire length of the ship to go anywhere. From my point of view, this would be a good deal.

Keep in mind that Travel Agencies and Consortiums are blocking Group Space on all of these cruises. Their space is reviewed every few months and cabins are taken back if the agencies have not sold the space. When I called our TA to book us on the 13th she said she would get some group space for that date for a better price and extra amenities.
-
I don't see it available right now on my offers. I believe it expired a month or so ago. We have used it before and it was a great deal. I try to search the offers every week or so. to activate any offers. I am hoping it will be offered again soon.

I have done 12 Carnival Cruises and 15 Princess. Princess has the itineraries that we want and overall the better experience for us. While we have loved all of our cruises, we now look at Princess first when planning a trip.

Make sure you put their full legal name on it as shown on their ID. Several people have had issues getting their credit if they did not.

We were on the Regal last New Year's Eve with two other couples. All of the events stated above plus huge balloon drop at Midnight. Traditional New Year's music inside the Piazza and Contemporary on the Lido Deck. We would do it again in a heartbeat! One of our best cruises.
-
We have referrred many people but have not received any of the credits until after the friends had completed their sailing. Then it was available to use on our next cruise.
-
I would email or call Princess with their booking numbers to link their sailings to your account. I had to do that once for my credits. Your credits will not be available until they actually sail.

Thank you so much for taking the time to get this information out to us! We will be on the Regal in April and are excited to have the Medallions! This really helps us to prepare!

16 on the Star 3 day coastal and 167 for the Regal 11 day Scandinavia and Russia....can't wait for either!
Laundry rooms
in Princess Cruises
Posted
Even though we get the free laundry, there are things I would not send out. I want control over the temperature in washing and drying for some items. I am very glad that Princess has self serve laundry.
