I was recently on the Liberty from April 22 to May 1st, 2024. The Loyalty Ambassador was one of the best I have ever met, Yajnish Mohoonee. He was usually at his desk on Deck 8 every day from 2 to 7. Since we were on deck 8, we saw him every day. Also, the last 5 days of our back-to-back we met Ivonne Herrera who was going to be taking over as the Crown Lounge Concierge. She was also so helpful and always willing to do anything even though we really didn't have any requests. We are going to be sailing again on the Liberty from October 10th to October 19th 2024 going to Boston, Maine and Canada. If there is anyone currently on the Liberty or going to be on her in the next 4 months before our sailing and goes to the Crown Lounge or the computers on deck 8, could you please see if they both will still be on the Liberty for the October 10th sailing. If anyone knows if there is a way for me to inquire on my own such as sending an email to the Loyalty Ambassador, Please also let me know.

    Thank you,

We will be on the Liberty at the end of June. I will check for you. Our cabin is on deck 7.  Did you have to make reservations for the shows ahead of time?  This will be our first time on the Liberty & are looking forward to the cruise to Bermuda with our family.

Oh, something I did notice and I don't remember if it used to be this way but when I walk down the hallway to the elevator (I am all the way aft so it is along walk. ) But anyway, I notice TONS of silver containers on the floor with covers on them. I am guessing these are room service items and folks don't leave them in their cabin......and lots of of door signs too. Just observations on my part but why put that food container on the floor outside? Is this a thing now?

When we were on the Oasis last year, we saw a lot of that.  Not very appealing or sanitary.

Agree. We sailed on her in May (Bermuda) and in September (NE/Canada) and LOVED it!

We thought entertainment was one of the best too.

What Broadway show is on the Liberty?  What other entertainment?  Going on her in June.

Oh, I'm one of those folks that does not like dishes in the floor down the hallway. I definitely hope that process changes. It's dirty and not appealing at all. Makes the environment look really bad.

I agree--dirty dishes in the hall does not look appealing.  We saw alot of that on the Oasis this summer.  Rarely on Celebrity. I certainly hope this will not happen on the Ascent.

We will be on her in November for the pre pre maiden and the pre maiden voyages. It’s a 4 and then a 3 night b2b. Honestly, my expectations regarding entertainment are low due to the newness and major learning curve associated with launching a new ship. I suspect by Jan. They should be in good shape!

Anxious to hear your thoughts as we will be on the Ascent right after you.

  6. Just got home yesterday from a one week cruise on Royal and found the PUP email. When I tried to answer the quiz, I found it to be expired. And we were just at "Perfect Day at Coco Cay", too. Sadly I just lost out on a point.  This certainly was a short window to finish this PUP.

If they have changed the wording on their website it seems like they have made an announcement, The website does not say they are '"testing". This is bad whether it is temporary or permanent.

. To friends and family I have always touted Celebrity as being smoke free inside including the casino. Testing is okay but when the test is a change to the air quality we breath that is just wrong. The new CEO should be ashamed of herself.

I completely agree with you.  On our last cruise on the Summit in May, I spent more time than usual in the casino and enjoyed every minute.  First the casino, then other places on the ship is what we can expect in the future.

  8. I sent a very long email to Celebrity about this & included my Captain's Club number for them to check our history with the company.  I did get back a form email which said absolutely nothing important.  It is the same email which most people got.  No phone call either.  Very disappointed.

  9. Sad to hear that the Eclipse needs some refurbishment. We have been on her many times in the Caribbean when they had the 14 night sailing.  She is coming to New Jersey next year.

We booked the Greenland/Iceland cruise for next summer.  Maybe Celebrity will at least address some of the issues & fix or replace items torn or worn out.  Paying their prices for a suite and finding what luvthec mentioned in their CS cabin is not what people are expecting or want.

  10. Over the last few weeks, I have had trouble signing in.  Every time, it says my email or password is incorrect.  I know that both are correct. I even have the password written down so I know that it is the right one.  I change my password and then it happens again.  Anyone else having this probem?  I am not sure which department to call to address this issue??

Once upon a time I got the PUP e-mails, but then they mysteriously stopped, so I depend on this thread to let me know when there's an offer.  Amazingly, that has not stopped the torrent of other e-mails I get from Celebrity every day.

    Same for me....
