  1. We did the All Access Tour on Anthem two years ago. The tour itself was fantastic and well worth the money.

We received a lanyard each. Plus the bakers made us some pastries to enjoy after we had toured the kitchens and there were also drinks offered, I think champagne, beer or orange juice from memory.

There definitely weren't any photos, but you were able to take photos with the captain and crew when on the tour.

    Thank you !

  2. planning on the AAT on Harmony in OCT; we have done this tour on another line and we rec'd a few perks as in mimosas while we waited on the tour to start with. Few pastries ; lanyard; string backpack ; carved soap; chocolate cover strawberries sent to our room after the tour: and 2 8x10 pictures of us 1 with the captain and the other of the group. Just wondering what to expect.

  3. I personally don't like the new deli menu.

I just came off the glory 9 days ago and the sandwiches are pre made and sitting out on a shelf, then heated or pressed.

I work for a health dept and seeing that they were sitting out in the open.... No freaking way was I eating one of these sandwiches; especially the turkey.

I personally missed the turkey on a country roll.

  4. When I talk about the cruise I talk about you guys on how I loved the jellyfish costumes ... lol

I agree with the comedians and our room steward Bagus were great.

Dustin from the ceiling was driving me nuts with that ... coming to you from the ceiling bit... got old quick

We also did the steakhouse again and it was meh .

Love cruising during Halloween ... might see you again next year

I was on this cruise too (we were the jellyfish...lol) and I would agree overall it was kinda a “meh” cruise. There was nothing really “bad” but with the exception of Halloween night, it felt like it lacked energy. I felt like the CD Dustin and his “fun squad”lacked energy... the comedians however were all really good, top notch! I do love cruising at Halloween, and do one every year, I was a bit underwhelmed by this one...

I agree that Grand Cayman was a total cluster! We had to be back on board at 2pm on the other side of the island! The line to get a tender was endless and we barely had 3 hours onshore... total waste! In fairness, when we went to the 7 mike beach, there were like 5-7 ft waves and apparently ships for the last 5 days had cancelled... but it was a very short, expensive beach day!

Our cabin on deck 9 had new carpet and mattress so not sure if they are still in the process of replacing them. I did have the most AMAZING cabin steward, Lydia I have ever had in all my cruises! Truly spectacular!

Menus in the steakhouse were the old ones... for the first time I was unimpressed with the steakhouse service... again, not bad, just “meh”. And why oh why can they NOT offer bitter n blanc on 7 night cruises? It’s bread pudding for Pete,s sake, NOT that difficult or expensive?? C,mon Carnival!

And yes, the smoke in the casino was really horrible, seemed way worse than usual!

I will admit I was disappointed in the itinerary switch as the eastern route was the very reason I booked, but better luck next year I guess! I gotta start thinking of my costumes!!

  5. First of all I want to say how creative and inventive the people have been on this cruise … The costumes were fantastic!

    Here are a few observations…

    - Embarkation was easy Peasy and getting your sign and sail cards at your room door made it so much easier than the old way.

    - if you were walking on deck 10 starboard side on the front of the ship near the waterworks entering the building the bucket for the waterworks wIll empty into waterworks, but will have pushback into the walkway.... drenching you from overhead unsuspectedly .... I know this 1st hand... lol

    - We don’t use her phones during our cruise but on the last day purchased the premium Internet just to check into our airlines and it took over an hour to even get logged on so the Internet at least for that day was horrible did go to customer service and they did refund my money.

    - I would’ve thought after going through the refurbished they would have at least changed out the bedding and the curtains in the cabins .

    - switching us from a Eastern to a western itinerary was a total cluster, it started out bad in Grand Cayman because they didn’t dock us in Georgetown they put us on the other side of the island. They also canceled all the water tours after they have tendered you in, and had us sit waiting and not until I got up and asked they said it was cancelled and I wouldthave thoght they would have offered alternative excursions... but no... nothing. not very good customer service . So we went back and enjoy the rest of the day on the boat . Other ports were uneventful .

    - all of the staff were great. No problems .

    - Debarkation was a little different if you were not platinum - faster to the fun or diamond you had to go down to deck five on the day before and you pick up luggage tags - first come first serve as far as numbers .

    - The entertainment was just mediocre but that hasn’t changed

    - oh yeah and I thought this was Weird we had our cabin made up twice a day but we always got our towel animal right after morning cleanup .... and all of our cruise we are definitely used to coming back after dinner and seeing the towel animals.

    - Noticed in several places on the interior there was water leaking especially on deck nine in the hallways had water and then back on deck five in the comedy club also had leaks

    - glory definately needs an overhaul on the filtration system in the casino, I like the slots ... But the definately list money on me this cruise... I actually only saw 4... Yes only 4 non smoking machines.

Overall it was just an all right cruise I wouldn’t rank it up there with some of my others definitely enjoyed the glory the first time, this time.. Uh

  6. Red is the color of your Sail & Sign card after your first cruise on Carnival. You will have it from your second cruise (regardless of how many days your first cruise was) through day 24. As soon as you hit day 25 (even if it's in the middle of your cruise will be gold.

Sorry- can't help you with where your red cards went to- I cruised several times in that window and received the red card each time, til I hit gold. Unless you were grandfathered in for reason! Was your first cruise by chance 24 days long????

I wish... It was a 6 day on the freedom
