  1. where exactly did they get a plastic bottle on NCL? Been boxed water for about 4 or more years now.
  2. Yeah they are sweet, but I am a froo froo drinker lol and a sweet wine drinkers sooo. I love them . Thanks for trying it!! Can't wait to have some in December on Gem!! Cheers!!
  3. I have attempted to find it on here via searches and scrolling, does anyone have a picture of the champagne bar menu or can direct me to one that is a clear picture? We sail in December. TIA
  4. 2 ounces Amaretto 2 ounces Bailey’s Cream Liqueur 2 ounces Blue Curacao 1 Chilled Martini glasses ½ cup Rustic ground pistachio for decoration (optional) We got them at the Sunset Bar.
  5. I guess what I don't understand is why tap water people get worked up over others wanting bottled water. If you are at a bar , do you tell others what you think they should have for a drink? Just sayin' I live bottled better, and if it get my my hydration, so be it. So buy a bigger room, it's their money I buy bottled water, By the way beyond the air packs, there has always been air in a can and in a compressed tank, divers pay good money for it.....
  6. Just or the record, Utica has some of the worst water in their tap and has had the highest contaminates.... soooooo 😉
  7. I don't drink the tap water, anywhere, not at home, not at restaurants ( I order bottled water) , not on a ship or in a hotel room. I drink Packaged water. Everywhere. I don't like the taste of anything but packaged water. I get the water package every cruise. The ship water makes me swell up in my feet. when I have the packaged water I don't. The water has minerals added to it for taste in which the minerals include a for of salt which I have issues with. The package is like $59 for 24 liters. worth every penny. so glad the switched water labels. Flow is much better than just water was. no odd taste if you drink from the container.
  8. well, we were speaking of ALASKA.... usually the rooms run hot I have read.
  9. Actually if you look up things about the slots they are more random than you think. ;). and maybe it's brainless to you, but so is fishing, walking, and computer time many times at home. Not to mention TV and movies/shows. JS.
  10. It will never happen, I wouldn't leave the door open either ( I know many say the do it at night*shivers in fear*) I would consider an ocean view if it wasn't on the bottom floors like 5,6 or 7, lowest I've been is 8. Thank you for the offer, I have seen them from across the room we're in when they are cleaning and even then my legs as you say *tingle* I don't do the room crawls for that very reason ... 😉
  11. For Caribbean cruises I tend to take Thinksport’s zinc oxide. I am always looking for good sunscreen sadly think sport like many others love aloe and I am so allergic( goes with latex and adhesives lol) dammit. 😉
  12. I just don't like cooking on a chair lol. Not a hot weather lover but sadly like to go to Caribbean( oxymoron no?) to do things. We are currently looking at a TA in cooler weather in Europe, DH said "it will be in the 30' in Iceland..." I replied. "oh good!" 😛 He wears 100spf and applies religiously, still has had at least 30 pre cancerous removed and had 4 cancerous removed, the last one was a doozey. He was a marathon runner, it made it's mark on him.... healthy to run but not in the sun..
  13. You alos have to find the machines that let you control the bet not the preset ones 😉
  14. So again not a big stakes player, but we bring $400 - $600 to play on mostly slots, last cruise we had $400( shorter cruise) and we played every night for a few hours just to relax and have fun, We put aside any winnings, but when we counted the total again at the end of the cruise we had $799. including the $400 we started with, so We were $399 ahead, we neve have lost it all, and we have never not gotten at least $200 over what we began with. Some nights we only play for a while as the machines are not generous, other nights we play more and they are. We play because we enjoy it, and yeah you can lose plenty I am sure, trick is to know when to walk away. We walk away if we are not gaining. We have played on many cruises and never lost what we started with and have always won more. Is it huge money , nope, but the point it you don't have to lose lots to comp a cruise even with bigger stakes. 🙂
  15. Ah, Like the gallery, the unique paintings( I know they are on all the ships etc lol) and the statues, I love the metal/enamel pieces, and the ones with the olives etc in various poses( don't know who paints them I just like them) and the Lebo works!! But that's me. I don't do the auctions, but those statues could find a way here in my house 😉 . I could however do with out the cigar bar. but then I don't go there so I am sure it is well loved or at least appears to be. I have to ask someday though, do they go to look "cool" cigar-ing ( is that a word?) or is it really enjoyment? serious question.
  16. I would love to spend an hour or two watching you play. I would learn so much. Like I said I am small potatoes in the gambling world, slots maybe craps( if I understood it better ) more. Black jack always looks fun and I can stand and watch it for a while easily. We gamble because it is fun, we enjoy the "risks" and know what we can afford to possibly lose and win. We actually do pretty well on slots, haven't lost more than we bet ever, usually gain at least a few hundred off of $400 to start on a cruise, the longer the cruise the bigger the budget for playing of course. But we like it. We have several local casinos and we have enjoyed them too. Again we go with what we can afford to spend win loos or draw. I know it is an oxymoron, "afford to lose" but it really is a put away to play money like bowling, you go to enjoy not necessarily to win. Or any other game, we call it pocket money or wine money etc.... Happy cruising and enjoy your gaming! Just to clarify, I don't hate Haven, if it is your thing fabulous, but when it becomes a "status" then it is a bit much for me. YMMV. So to haven lovers, enjoy, I will enjoy my inside room as well, and we will all have a great time. I have considered ocean view, but most of those rooms tend to be below on like 4 & 5 and I'm an10th- 11- 12th floor kinda girl. Mid ship always. I don't get seasick there and I do take an antihistamine to Quelch that. If we ever got to Alaska I would have to seriously consider that ocean view, but balcony is for am a hard no, out of paranoia.🙆‍♀️
  17. this is what we do, we play xx amount of money a day, win lose or draw, if we win we take that days amount out and play it the next day and they rest goes in the safe, If we lose the next days amount is played the next day, if we go even we are happy too cause we had fun playing and lost nothing . 🙂
  18. I did it all while holding my camera and recording it and yes the scenery is beautiful... it is very different, but I enjoy it so no fear
  19. Zip line is a lot of fun, we did it on St Kitts, 6 lines from top to bottom. Even the then 6 years old and 8 years old grandsons did it. 🙂
  20. I would honestly say that yeah people really do pay full for Haven. As I have said I am in at least 6 groups "elsewhere" and they all pay full unless they get lucky like when ships were at half capacity, and bid but even then they bid a few thousand pp to go Haven. Most say they "will only book Haven", no mention of bidding. 🤷‍♀️
  21. But you do, and yeah you did project a temper, what started out as a simple what you like what you don't , you managed to take to the level of defending Haven, and blocking and a few other things, go back and read your posts.
  22. That is my fear is the edge of a ship. now smaller boats no problems. Heights? no Problem. The rope bridge would be no problem too, for m, but I get where you are coming from. I see the bridge in I think it is Japan that is glass and as you walk on it it reacts like it is breaking. 😮 could be freaky. Zip line can produce some interesting feelings too. I got you too! 😉 .
  23. Thought you weren't going to write to me anymore? That said. I don't get mad at people on forums. Not wort the effort. But no you actually did make the argument as you said in your post " I can't believe I am defending haven" and "I hate that." No? Either way you went on to tell me to block you and a few other temper things but at this point you have made the point that you lost your temper. I never said you said elite, I said elite, and I have the posts to prove that in here and else where. Me thinks you doth protest too much.
