The two that are most commonly recommended are Dial7 and Carmellimo. Both can be reserved online, and you may find an online coupon for one or both of them if you Google.
As a native New Yorker, I agree, and can vouch for either of these car services. You should be fine, happy travels.

Yet people have it done by people they have no clue as to whether they know what they are doing.
Agreed...I’ve seen some unfortunate Botox results' date=' as well..

Here's another idea... heck the Courtyard Marriott Upper East Side. It is well located for access to the new 2nd, Ave subway, which gets you to Times Square in 10 minutes..just a thought..

From port to hotel I would recommend Rome Limo as noted above but my top recommendation is Rome Cabs at http://www.romecabs.com
As far as hotel there is a hotel right at the airport which is a Hilton.

Agreed....have used them more than a dozen times, always a pleasure.

From a civilian mariner who supported our troops in two war zones, I say "Bravo Zulu" for a job well done to all current military and veterans, for a job not well enough recognized.
To all those who "gave the last full measure of devotion" to their country, I say "God Bless and Thank you".
YES! Well said.

We are, admittedly, not total wine snobs, but do know decent wines from bad..We were recently on the Constellation and had no issues with the selection in Blu, on the Premium Package. Frankly, we were surprised, since the ship was due to go into dry dock at the end of our cruise.
The sommelier was happy to suggest wines and to open bottles for us to sample.
Perhaps, it is just luck of the draw...
by the way...chisoxfan! We are too!

We did this cruise last year, same timeframe..layers, hooded rain jacket, long pants. We got lucky one of two days and we're able to wear long or short sleeved tees during the day.
Enjoy!

We are fresh off of the Constellation and there was an offer that included OBC for your current cruise, in addition to the usual offers.
We are already booked up, so I didn't pay rapt attention, but I know that that offer was available.

Glad to hear the ships are still making visits to this fabulous destination. Most "political commentary" here reinforced your opinion-Safe, welcoming & worthwhile port. Don't waste time with frustration [emoji106]🏻

Thank you for doing this live report! Cruises outside of the typical Caribbean/Alaska/Med have always intrigued me. I am loving this!
Silly question, do they still have the black and white cookies at Cafe Al Bacio? That was my first ever black and white cookie, I am a sentimental person ;p
Your first ever...you poor thing! Black and white cookies are the best...I hope that Bacio will re-stock by the time we board next week.

Thanks for posting all of this information and photos. We board Constellation right after you! Did I understand correctly that Rich will remain on as Cruise Director? Enjoy your voyage

Ephesus is a wonderful place to visit, and if things become iffy, the cruise ship will not dock there. That being said, do take advantage of a tour there. There is remarkable history and it was one of the highlights of my whole trip when I visited Turkey about 10 years ago. Good luck!
Agreed! We visited there twice, while on cruise, and enjoyed it very much. If you do tour, try and include the mountain village of Srincinci.
An extra added attraction to an already interesting port.
Very sad for the people of Turkey, who rely on tourism....

We were a group of six, added some new CC friends, and booked two full day private tours. The best money ever spent on touring an amazing city.

An opportunity to visit Ephesus w/o the crowds shouldn't be missed. Ephesus, like all of Turkey, is wonderful and a long way from Syria. Go and enjoy. You'll cherish the memories!

Agreed! An incredibly interesting country. While in Ephesus, a visit to the town of Srinci is also a treat.

Not snobbish..but I will quote a dear friend, who owned a wine shop way back when..."if you like it..it's a fine wine"! Enjoy[emoji485]

Agreed in regards to the Classic Package choices...however, we dine in Blu, and had many excellent choices..the sommelier was terrific, and we truly enjoyed a wide range of both reds and whites..perhaps they have moved the "good ones" to Blu and Luminae....
The pool bar, for sure, is not the place to search out great wines! Lol...
