  1. Yes you can use your SeaPass card to get chips for the tables. They will be specially marked chips. They cannot be cashed in, they can only be bet.

If you win, you will win a different kind of chip which can be cashed in.

Exactly correct..similar to the use of slots. Your OBC is sent to your sea pass "personal banker" at the machines. If you win, you win..

  2. Even worse is the fact that the gym, itself, houses an entire set of rattan lounge furniture, making the floor space even smaller...poor design and use of space all around. On the other hand...it is small stuff and just about the only negative we find on the ship[emoji106]🏻

  3. Fresh off of the Reflection with a Blu report..reservations are not permitted nor were they necessary..

A few minutes wait, if at all, each night for a 7 -ish dinner for two.

Service, variety of menu, food quality all were top notch. Breakfast was great, as well.

We did not visit the MDR, as we love the Blu experience.

  4. We, too, are fresh off of the Reflection and can add that the service, quality and variety in Blu remain outstanding. We have sailed all S class ships, always Aqua, mostly for the Blu experience..

The ship staff was great, agreed about the improved internet, Michaels Club.

Our only peeve is that the gym is filled with wasted spaces...two rooms for "seminars" or personal trainer consultation, which were only used once in seven days..in addition, there is an entire wicker living room lounge set up in the center of the gym! When the gym was hopping, people were at a loss for where to put a mat down..

Again, one tiny thing out of a weeks worth of enjoyment!

  5. We are on the last day of a Western Caribbean cruise on the Reflection.

Have sailed three times on Silhouette, many on Equinox.

We saw no difference in service, but there are differences that can result in service issues.there are 1200 staff members on ship.

The Sky Lounge is cut off, due to the suites on that deck. During events, canapés & food need to come from the kitchen, rather than the Sky Lounge kitchen..

The Lounge, itself, is dark, again due to the lack of windows..

These are nit picking , I know, but, given a choice, I would go Silhouette.

  6. Update:

There are about a dozen spin bikes on board. They are located in a room, off of the gym, and are only available while in class. Of course, class is an added fee.

They were roped off when we boarded ship yesterday..

    Hope this helps!

  7. No, I recall that they are "roped off" when not in use during class... I am not sure, but at one point, one of the S class ships had a dedicated Spin FlyWheel studio. It may have been the Reflection..I will be on the Reflection next week and will report

  8. We have had nothing but great experiences in Blu, both on S and M class sailings..we dined there as a couple, and in groups of six and eight...never waited longer than 15 minutes for a table..we would simply go to the Ensemble Lounge, have a drink and wait..

The food and service have never disappointed..we would never sail without AQ. Just our opinion...

  9. Deck - 12

    Cabin # - 2130

    Class – Sky Suite

Starboard or Port Side - starboard

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – n/a, bed is between bathroom and balcony

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – This cabin is below the path of Oceanview Cafe and we were warned about noise from the rolling carts. It was minimal, sounded like distant thunder and occasional, at most. it never impacted our sleep. The perks of a Suite far outweighed this minor inconvenience.

Balcony View - This balcony has a deep overhang, which sometimes impacted photos. Again, it was a double wide balcony, so that was worth it.

Balcony Size? -HUGE! (this is a wheelchair accessible suite)

    Was wind a problem? No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? No

Any specific problems with this cabin? None -

Any other comments? This was an outstanding cabin. Huge, well laid out and a joy to live in! The proximity to the gym, pool and Oceanview were things we enjoyed. As noted by YoPhilly, there is no shower door, so there are times when water runs from the shower onto the floor - especially when the ship is moving on less than smooth seas. If I had this issue in my home, I'd be upset..in a stateroom, who cares? :)
