  1. The Princess WiFi price is scheduled to increase on Feb. 20, 2023, for bookings made on or after Dec.13. Single device plan goes to $15 a day and the four device plan to $40 per day. Yikes. Currently the single device plan is $10 per day and $15 a day for the four device plan.
  2. "No Plans Available To Purchase" on my March 20, 2023 Princess cruise on both my iPhone and iPad.

  4. I'm wondering about the embarkation testing status for 16 day Hawaii Princess cruises from LA..
  5. Pray that you don't get Olivia Guthrie on your cruise. At one point on the Island Princess two weeks ago she started reading her Princess Theater jokes off of her little cue card, Seriously. That may be because very few in the audience ever laughed at her feeble attempt to tell off-the-cuff jokes. On the Wake show she acted like a silly teenager. Guthrie would serve Princess better by working in the kid's club.
  6. On the Island Princess is seemed that there were fierce podium arguments in the MDRs every night. I don't think the podium staff had a clue as to who had reservations and where ahead of time. They did check your pendant when you arrived, sometimes multiple re-checks. We learned two things. Avoid the club class dining rooms and just show up without a reservation because that was faster. The fastest way of all to be quickly seated was to dine right after the first show. The old Princess way of using buzzers was much better.
  7. The Inspire on-line witnessed rapid Covid test was easy. The Walgreens witnessed rapid test was also easy. Princess was calling passengers with direct bookings to tell them that they could take their rapid test kit to the dock for witnessing. When we checked in for our Island Princess cruise in LA the podium girl appeared to only be looking for the word "negative" and not the date of the test. Even with everybody having testing papers when boarding 120 (or more) ended up with Covid on our LA to FLL cruise. The Island Princess had already set aside 29 do-no-enter this area cabins for Covid people, complete with a "donning" cabin just outside the restricted Emerald Covid deck area. Horizon Court had a staff monitored hand washing basin at the Horizon Court entrances and NO food was allowed to be scooped by passengers.
  8. I learned several things about using app on the Island Princess. 1. The app usage for onboard stuff with VPN enabled is a no go. 2. The app when on board, almost daily, looses your log in credentials. 3. The on board texting to the passengers services desk, after they finally wake up, is a dream come true. 4. The on board ordering of room service via the app for a delivery time other than now is pretty tricky. After you order on line they may also call you to say that they are out of xyz then deliver twice the amount of xyz that they were out of. Sometimes your deck elevator lobby video screens will see your bluetooth signal nearby and put your name up on the screen.
