Quess what? I did not take the Anniversary offer for Maasdam 43 day collector. The price went up AU$ 3000 pp form what I had booked earlier. Can't win them all.

We live three hours south of Sydney Australia. Took a cruise starting in Istanbul. Door to dock was 37 hours. Customs in Istanbul and Hals transfer was a nightmare - 3hours. Once on deck a beer or two was needed to calm me down. The 33 day cruise was superb.

I am getting exactly the same message "your security is compromised".

Vista suites would cost you about AU$450 pp to add the NZ cruise on but I believe there is only 1 or 2 left.

No it is not special to Australia. Part of present promotion. I was just checking prices when I noticed that there was a 43 day Circumnavigation of Australia and New Zealand collector cruise on offer. The cost of the lanai was about $350 pp more than the Circumnav price. Got on to my TA who said she could do even better. Hence the new cruise and price.

Just rebooked with HAL new deal. No price change for our cruise but

added New Zealand cruise to Circumnavigation of Australia for AU$ 300 for the 2 of us. This is now a Collector cruise. We are very excited(little dance). An extra 14 days for that price. New Zealand, here we come again. Plus extra bonus for the cruise.

I know this problem only too well. Give Covermore a try. I have used them for four cruises so far and had my heart complaints covered. Try them on-line first to get a quote. If you have problems, ring them.

This is definitely worth a try. We had it on our cruise last year so I do not know if the menu has changed. Oh, if only they had De Librjie on every cruise. Best food I've ever had on a cruise.

All of the above or visit Rottnest Island. An express ferry will take you out. It takes about thirty minutes. See Tripadvisor for information. Make sure you see the quokkas and finish your trip with a beer at the Rottnest Hotel.

Dollar did not stay up long. Did a test run on the Holland site by purchasing $100US. Took 2 days to appear on my account. Cost $148Au. As I remember from past purchases Holland uses the most recent exchange rate at the time of processing in the US plus a 1.5 to 2% exchange rate charge.

If US raise their interest rates as predicted next week, we can expect further falls in the Aussie dollar.

If you buy OBC with Hal now they will charge you at today's rates. If the au Dollar goes down you win. If it goes up you lose. Can't see it going up, so I would buy OBC now. I have done this on each of my HAL cruises. I like to pay as much as I can so that I don't suffer from bill shock at the end of the cruise.

White cockatoo. He lived to a very ripe old age. Bald, cantankerous and was always very interested in taking a bit of your finger off if you tried to scratch his comb. Which was another thing he said - 'scratch cocky's comb' - ad nauseum!

Definitely consider staying at Rydges as it takes all the hassle out by being right at the International Terminal. A great place to start or end a trip.

On the Ooosterdam we also got the full discount for our two Guests at the pinnacle for all our bookings, including La Cirque.

Sailed on the Ooosterdam in Jam and Feb this year - 28 days. No complaints at all as we had a wonderful time. I am often confused by some reviews as I was a bit nervous after reading previous reviews of Oosterdam.:)

Having experienced whites returning not so white on our first cruise, we took to requesting COLD WASH on the laundry docket. Never had a problem since.
