On my first four SIlversea cruises- there was always a Seafood extravaganza one lunch- cold lobster, crab legs, crab claws, shrimp, mussels… it was wonderful and I always looked forward to this. My last cruise on the Dawn, December 2023- nothing. Does anyone know if this has officially been discontinued? it would be nice if they would inform us of these endless, recent changes.

Can you join a large table as a Solo Traveller in the Princess Grill? And I keep reading about enclosed balconies vs glass? I’m booked on the QV soon, and all the balconies seem to be glass?

Can I ask- is it annoying to have people walking outside the window all day? And not being able to open your blinds?

Thank you so much for all this info! I booked an SS crossing for December- Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale on the Silver Ray. I love SS, but, I hate being cold, and I need/love, to swim every day. I was thinking I might at least paddle around the spa pool on windy, cold days, but I’ve read the Nova and Ray won’t have a pool in the Spa. I love sea days- that’s not a problem, but cold- boo, and if I can’t swim I’d be very sad indeed. I’m thinking of cancelling and going someplace warm, but I did P to P, so will lose my deposit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
