  1. Right now, a 3 day pass (our cruise is only 3 days) for unlimited access to the thermal suite is showing as $59pp. I really only want a 2 day pass, but for some reason those are showing as not for sale in the online portal. My question is, once we get onboard, will the thermal suite pass price be cheaper? I have heard they run specials. We are Platinum Level for C&A, and are staying in a GS, which puts us at the "Star" level onboard. Thanks in advance for replies.

The smoking section is on the pool deck, port side (I think).  You can only smoke cigars outside. I find it's less than ideal especially when the ship is in motion so I have tended to enjoy them either ashore on while everyone else is ashore.

I’m planning on bringing some small cigars on board and then trying to smoke them in the casino. They are smaller enough where people may think they are some kind of cigarette. I will let you know how it goes.

For the past 22 years for us always been 6/7 days before sailing date

Only time before that was for Star Class which was 6 weeks out

Allure in November they reached out 6 days before

On the rare occasion nothing by 5 days out, I then email them

I’m assuming you have the correct email addresses

    Useful Emails:

    AL_concierge01@rccl.com

    AL_concierge02@rccl.com

    Suite Lounge Concierge’s

Thank you for your reply. Yes, those are the two addresses I used.

  4. We are sailing on Allure next week, and are staying in a Grand Suite. It will be our 5th wedding anniversary, and first vacation together without our twin toddlers 🙂

I am been trying to reach the Allure Suite Concierges, Nadja and Cecilia, via email for the last couple of weeks to make some advanced reservations for us. I have not received any responses, and am getting a bit anxious. In the past, the suite concierge always responded at least 2 weeks before our cruise to confirm that our reservation requests had been taken care of, or at least to say they would work on ir. We try to have everything set before we board, that way we care not rushing around, and can enjoy our cruise as soon as we board. Now, I understand they are very busy dealing with current onbaord suite guests, but with our cruise a week away, I thought I would have heard something by now. Any advice on how to reach them other than email? TIA.

Prices can vary by sailing.  You can look at the planner price via the web tool and sorta determine what the on board price is from that. You can get discounts on board sometimes.

I think I’ll buy it now while it’s 50% off. I have a $250 obc from my Royal CC rewards. I’ll buy it with the royal CC, then covert those points to an OBC. Then I can cash out all of my OBC’s (credit card reward and TA) once onboard.

You can cash out any type of OBC (even non refundable) via the slot machine in the casino.

Wow, I had no idea. Counting the OBC I got from redeeming my RCI credit card rewards points, and our TA OBC, I will have $510 in OBC’s. My thought was to wait onboard and purchase the deluxe beverage package with it. After using the OBCs, it should come out to around $90 total for a 3 night cruise on Allure - I think my math is correct on that?

We have never had any trouble boarding early.  He usually get to the pier about 11 am also and get on the suite line.  No problems. Have fun.  We don't cruise until April.  Can's wait.  I love the Allure.

  8. We are sailing on Allure of the Seas on Dec. 15 out of Port Canaveral. We are staying in a 1 bedroom Grand Suite. Our arrival time is 1:00 PM. With suite guests, I heard that you can arrive an hour earlier than this assigned time. We are Sky class, and it says "Flexible Arrival Boarding & Priority Departure".

Is this true? I seem to remember last time I cruised, which was on Mariner of the Seas out of Port Everglades, we arrived at around 11 AM and were allowed to board immediately, even though it was a few hours before our assigned time. Perhaps this is because we were in a Grand Suite.

Anyway, we plan on arriving at 11 AM, as we need to be out of our hotel by 10 AM.
