  1. Thank you so much for the tips, I will do some more homework. I have plenty of time, I am retired and would have to save up some serious money before doing this. Right now I just have to be content doing the cruise ship thing. We do have our own gear, so the thing to do is just bring our mask and snorkels and leave our fins at home and rent some.

But, staying somewhere that is walkable to the snorkeling area would be a plus.

Wish I could just move there!

  2. I was looking at this too, it is so on my bucket list. We live in Georgia, guess we could drive to Miami. Did you book through Infinity? Did you bring your own snorkeling gear?

It sounds like a dream come true!

We have been there though Carnival's beach break two times, but there is just not enough time.

We are booked on the Magic for next September and hope to go there again. But to have a whole week, that would be heaven!

Thank you so much for this information!

  3. We have done Tabyana beach break twice thru Carnival, last time in 2013, loved every minute of our stay. They have lockers, showers, snorkeling gear, etc. We have our own gear.

Food was not on my mind, I just wanted to snorkel as long as I could! lol

Did have to stop long enough to get my traditional Monkey La La, yummy!

Can't wait to go back next September on the Magic!

  4. We did this excursion thru Carnival about two years ago. We are booked for next September and plan on going back to Tabyana. I was hoping Carnival still offered this.

For me it was my best snorkeling experience I have ever had. I would suggest this to anyone. One day maybe I can do a land vacation there, so I could snorkel as long as I wish!

  5. We got the journal on the Fascination about two weeks ago. It wasn't what I really like, which is the tervis tumblers. But, I was able to take them to guest services and they gave me two tumblers! I was a very happy camper.

This was a five day cruise, and I think we were the last to get lobster on elegant night! Life is Good!

Love the Fascination, hate that it will be replaced next year with the Elation.

Oh Well, at least it will be a new magnet to add to my fridge. Just will miss our extra balcony rooms on the side.
